Hello! We’re Mike and Carolyn Patten, a retired couple who live right here in Ocean Vista Towers on South Padre Island (SPI).
We first visited the island and the beautiful Rio Grande Valley years ago and instantly fell in love with the sparkling Gulf waters, the peaceful island lifestyle, and the warm, welcoming spirit of the area. That first trip changed everything for us — we knew we wanted to call SPI home. Now we get to enjoy the breathtaking beach and relaxed coastal living every single day.
Because this condo is our home too, we’ve poured our hearts into making it as comfortable and complete as possible. We’ve tried to think of every amenity you might need so that you and your family feel right at home the moment you walk through the door — from the huge wrap-around balcony with endless ocean views to the full-size washer/dryer, stocked beach gear, and all the resort amenities just steps away.
Over the years we’ve been blessed with countless wonderful memories here — sunrise coffees on the balcony, sunset dinners with the sound of waves, laughter echoing from the pools and playscape, and quiet evenings watching dolphins play. Having been frequent visitors and vacationers to South Padre Island for many years, we knew exactly what we were looking for when it came time to buy our own beachfront home.
