My husband, John, and I, fell in love with this property because it is a haven for lovers of peace and serenity, and the natural world. The land includes many different species of trees, fields, streams, an orchard, an allotment. There are plenty of wild medicinal plants growing on our land, which I of course take full advantage of, and I also grow some of my own.
The previous owners loved gardening, and planted many unusual species of plants.
My two horses, and their dinky Miniature Shetland companion, are often seen grazing in the fields in front of Little Trembraze.
Being close to the sea was another big plus for John, when we bought this property. He has his own small boat, plus many friends with boats(!), which he makes the most of. He comes home with all sorts of fish for dinner, including pollock, cod, gurnard, plaice, ling, whiting, crab and lobster (he has his own pots!) He loves open-fire cooking, too.
We live in the old mill house on the other side of the woodland to Little Trembraze.
