The Hawaiian monarch was in a great location for my needs. The pool area, the little store in the lobby, and the restaurant in the lobby, all very convenient. My host, Eva, was very attentive to my needs and my questions. I rented a motorcycle and having parking was really convenient.

Eva was very communicative and provided amenities for our stay, and was responsive to suggestions as well. We were looking for a cost-effective centrally located place and this location suited our needs.

As a premier Host for years, Lisa’s review is so special and very appreciated! I realize our small “beachy lived-in” cozy budget friendly studio isn’t always a match for everyone. Yet, that’s exactly my point! It attracts enthusiastic budget minded travelers. Also, bad reviews which the Host has no control are self serving and make keeping our doors open harder for those needing a high value low-cost option in these times! Mahalo nui loa Lisa!

Anytime you have a place with an ocean view, it will be a great stay. By no means was the place fancy or luxurious but it wasn’t described that way. It was clean. It was reasonably comfortable. The location was good. There were food trucks across the street. The beach was a 15 minute walk.

Anniversary Vacation

We had plenty to do and the option of privacy as wanted we went to a luau, visited Pearl Harbor, drove to the mountains and stayed in the condo for a full day and night. It was a great place to experience Hawaii

This condo is in an excellent location, was very clean and has a great view facing the ocean. Communication with Eva the host was clear and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing visit to the island

Great place, little small for our 3 person ʻohana BUT the area was great. Parking is limited but we did luck out during our weekend getaway and got street parking! We had a great time, Mahalo for a great weekend (:

Great location

Overall this is a great property. The location is great and the ocean view is amazing. There was great communication from the property owner leading up to and throughout our stay. Our only suggestion is a new mattress, as the current one was not comfortable for us.

Fabulous Ocean View

I really loved this little studio with a great ocean view and convenient location. You can walk to anywhere in minutes. The salt water pool is really nice. Would stay again for sure. Eva is very nice and there to help!

Total Value

The studio was clean and well stocked. The view was wonderful and the location with parking made traveling around the island very easy. Nice pool/ hot tub with grilling area. Shops on the property were really convenient. Very kind staff and lots of security made it feel very safe. Would absolutely book again!

Great location and clean room, but it is a small space and bed is very uncomfortable. The pool was closed. Parking is cash only and 50 a day. The beach is close (3 blocks away) and there are good restaurants in the area.

7 day stay

We stayed at the property for 7 days and enjoyed it so much. It had everything we needed, so easy to get around and very grateful for Eva to accommodate special request. The only slight challenge was the bed, my husband is 6’3” so he was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved our stay and definitely recommend.

Uncomfortable

Nice view is the only thing going for it. We shortened our stay after the first night, out of our 8 day stay in Hawaii.

Probably one of the most inconsiderate and disrespectful guests in 7 yrs! Her lack of communication, leaving property without proper notice and overall a troubling guest behavior tells me everything. The review she gave was almost comical.

It has been a safe haven for those individuals working remotely and want to just relax with pool, gym and easy walking, bus, uber to many destinations. Convention attendees will greatly benefit since its less than a 10min walk with a great Hawaiian coffee/ cafe on way!
