We are a family & partners group of 7 adults - two oldies and five twenty-somethings. We enjoy coastal walks, swimming in the ocean, interesting old villages, cooking, playing games & music, and generally hanging out.Hamilton House site was perfect for us!The location is superb. A short walk down to a pebble beach & coastal walks along the cliffs in both directions. The village itself has some interesting history with an old, thatched roofed forge, a working, water-powered mill from the 1700s, & an old bakery. There are two pubs, the Fountain Head (tradional pub) , & Masons Arms, (still traditional, but serving more upscale food). Masons Arms is 100 meters from Hamilton House, so very convenient for a short stumble home!Hamilton House itself is very well suited for a family. Very spacious, well provisioned kitchen large enough for a group hang out whilst cooking. Separate pantry room along with an extra refrigerator. Cafetiere & Nespresso (Vertuo) for coffee, & all you'd need if you like to cook. There is also a new, large gas bbq in the back garden along with a covered picnic table. The dining room has a large table suitable for at least eight & doubles as the games room. The washing machine works & there is a dishwasher, microwave & two sinks. There is also a large sitting room on the first floor overlooking the garden.Adriana was very responsive whenever we had questions. A perfect home and location for our six night stay.
