The Stables is an enchanting three bedroom Cotswold holiday cottage with wood fired hot tub situated within the picturesque grounds of Camden Farm, near the historic market town of Faringdon. The cottage oozes charm and style with an excellent standard of fittings and furnishings throughout. With thick stone walls, flagstone flooring, wooden beams and wood-burning stove, the property is full of history and character. This dog & pet friendly cottage is an ideal place to escape to with your family or friends for some peace and quiet away from your busy life!
This cottage can be booked alongside our other holiday properties onsite at Camden Farm which can accommodate further guests if required - HONEY COTTAGE, IVY COTTAGE & HIGH BARN - ideal for a large family break or a group booking.
LIVING
The spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area has been tastefully decorated to provide a welcoming and cosy space. It has exposed internal stone walls and flagstone flooring, both of which compliment the furnishings well. The open plan space contains a large dining table with benches to seat 6 people. The bifold doors can be opened up during the summer months to enjoy the garden. The kitchen island doubles up as a breakfast bar with seating for 3 people. The kitchen has been fully equipped to include large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, range cooker and gas hob. The living room is situated just beyond the kitchen where you will find comfortable sofas and armchairs surrounding the wood burning stove and the TV. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer in the Utility room.

Ground Floor
Bedroom 1 - Superking bedroom with wardrobe and drawers, en suite bathroom and walk in shower.
First Floor
Bedroom 2 - Superking bed that can be split into twin beds on request, with hanging space and drawers, en suite bathroom and walk in shower.
Bedroom 3 - Master bedroom with king sized bed, a separate dressing room with hanging space and shelving, en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
OUTSIDE
The Stables Cottage sits on a rural farm surrounded by beautiful countryside
The cottage has its own dedicated enclosed outside space with outdoor seating, sun loungers, charcoal BBQ and a wood fired hot tub
ADDITIONAL FACILITIES
Camden Farm Barns comprises seven properties in total and boasts a large estate complete with football pitch and canopy covered open games space, great for rainy day activities including ping pong and table football. Being just a short walk from the river, during spring and summer guests can rent a paddle board or hire the ex-MOD truck, 'The Goose', which sits on the riverbank, great for a picnic or BBQ. From August 2025, a six-person infrared sauna with shower will be available (see Finer Details).
All of these facilities are offered on a complimentary basis, and are bookable upon arrival at Camden Farm Barns, subject to availability and weather conditions.

Things to Note...
The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by three additional infants (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided
Off street parking is available for up to 3 cars
1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
2 medium sized dogs are welcome for an additional £60 per booking per dog. For pet rules, please visit our FAQs

The Stables is part of a larger estate Camden Farm where there are neighbouring holiday lets and farm machinery from time to time
Use of the additional facilities is provided for guests’ enjoyment on a complimentary basis, bookable on arrival and subject to availability
The sauna can be booked for an hour’s slot between 9am and 8pm, subject to availability and safety guidelines
Guests are requested to bring their own towels to use the hot tub, sauna and paddle boards
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
Hen and Stag groups are not permitted
Events are not permitted without prior consent
A security deposit is required at this property
Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Complimentary EV charging point (shared between other properties on site and restricted use of 6hrs per day per car)
Arrivals between Monday 16th September and Saturday 12th October 2025 will require 10 days’ notice to ensure the properties can be made ready
