I had a very nice 4 night stay. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed for a nice comfortable stay. It's located just a block away from a grocery store. The view overlooking a courtyard was nice during the afternoon showers. Frank, the owner, was very accommidating and quickly responded to questions via email or What's App. I highly recommend this property. I would stay again if available the next time I visit London.

The location was nice, it was just enough away from the crowded areas to be quiet but easy to get into the city. It was about a 10 or so minute walk to tower bridge and the bus stop. There were some good restaurants walking distance and a grocery store right around the corner. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Frank was a great host. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting London.

Great place for London visit!

We stayed in this little apartment during a short visit to London and used it as home base. It’s in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Getting the keys was a bit of an ordeal, especially when jet lagged and new to London.However, it was just what we needed.

Small apartment centrally located

It was a very small apartment but we lived the location. Only downside was the bathtub. We were afraid of slipping and falling.

London Apartment near Tower Bridge

We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The quiet and charming neighborhood was close to Tower Hill Tube station, Tower Bridge, restaurants, and groceries which made it easy for us to get to everything. Great communication with the Vrbo owner and he answered all of our questions. We did not run into any problems.

Nice place

Nice place with modern amenities in quiet neighborhood. Short walk into the City, so very useful for business. Would have been helpful heads up that no soap/shampoo/laundry detergent is made available. Not a big deal, just another trip to the market.

Frank is a great host!

Frank is a very responsive host and I loved the location! You will walk past the Tower of London every day. However like the other reviews getting the keys is challenging as is getting to the apartment the first time. FYI when you come out of the station go left, and then left again at the corner and the shop to get the keys is about 5 minutes down the street on the left! We also have some mobility issues and getting down the stairs from the station with our luggage, walking a mile, then going up 3 sets of stairs (6 each) to get the apartment was really rough so be aware if you have bad knees or back. The apartment is fine for 2 people but I wouldn’t try to fit more in there. It’s basic but everything works. Plan on buying everything you need (store is 5 min away, very easy) because there’s just tea and salt and pepper unless we just couldn’t find it! We did not cook at the apartment because of this but there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. Bed is pretty firm but if it was too soft we wouldn’t like that either ;-). We thought we were lost on the way the first time and messaged Frank and he called me immediately. He’s a good host.

Alloggio in ottima posizione e dotato di tutti i confort.

Ho soggiornato in questo alloggio con la mia famiglia e ci siamo trovati molto bene. L’alloggio è in posizione tranquilla ma vicinissima alla vita di London Bridge e del porto. In 15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la metro ma c’è anche la linea dei bus praticamente sotto casa. Appartamento pulito, dotato di ogni confort. Ci tornerei sicuramente

Great Place to stay

The location was awesome. Each day my family walked through St Katherin's docks. The Tower Hill Underground stop is a 12-minute walk from the flat. The Flat is small but well-equipped. Frank is great to deal with.

Excellent apartment near St.Katharine's Docks

The location is excellent: less than 10 minutes away from te Tower, yet the streets are not too crowded. The apartment is well stocked with everything required for a short stay; a Waitrose grocery store is two minutes away. To summarize: this apartment is ideal.

Très bonne location

L'appartement est propre, très bien équipé, et surtout situé dans un quartier très calme, à quelques encablures de la marina et du London Bridge. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire qui est très réactif et nous a permis d'adapter les horaires en fonction de nos contraintes d'avion. Merci à lui pour cette flexibilité !

Perfekte Lage und sehr gut ausgestattet

Ich würde dieses Appartement meinen Freunden empfehlen! Tolle Lage und 10 Minuten bis Tower Hill Underground Station und von dort weiter 10 Minuten bis Westminster. Es ist eine hübsch und vollständig eingerichtetes Appartment in den Tower Hamlets. Wir waren mit 4 Personen im Appartement. Ich hatte von jemanden gelesen, dass es extrem schwierig wäre wegen Koffern und Co.. Das kann ich nicht bestätigen. Wir sind zu viert mit Koffern und Kleidern einräumen super gut klar gekommen. Waitrose - zum Lebensmittel einkaufen ist keine 5 Minuten entfernt. Frank ist spitze als Vermieter. Super entgegenkommend - kulant - unkompliziert. Mit einer sensationell schnellen Reaktionszeit. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt - ein Urlaubsort an den wir nochmal zurückkehren werden.

Great location of flat

Stayed for a week with my daughter (10yo). The apartment was clean and the listing is fully representative of the apartment. Everything was in good shape. We loved the location, close to St Katherine’s Dock. Could go up to Brick Lane for dinner really easily. It’s a very safe and residential central neighborhood. The espresso machine was great in the morning. The key is located about 1 mile from the apartment and the details are kinda buried in long emails from Frank. Frank graciously helped me navigate process and was very polite and understanding.

Concerns

The apartment is ideal for two people. There is too much furniture which leaves no space for luggage. Also the closets are all closed and there is no access for guests to use. The shower tub is a bit dangerous because it is very high, so those of age might find it tedious to jump in and out of it. The bathroom towels should be replaced because they smell really bad after being wet. Other than that, everything was good, these were just my concerns.

Location, water, sights - fantastic!

Frank’s apartment was perfect for us. Ten minute walk to Tower Hill Metro through beautiful marinas or along the Thames itself. Being 10 minutes from the Tower of London reminded us everyday that we were in the heart of it all. A one hour walk put us at the gates of Buckingham - if you want to avoid metro and like long walks - and the sights and feels in between were incredible. There is nothing lacking from this location. Frank provided us with an additional single mattress to accommodate our family of 4 - it was tight but we would return in a heartbeat for the location, apartment features, cleanliness and easy communication with Frank. 5 stars from us.

Nice stay in London

Great location for exploring London, very close to Tower Hill tube, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Apartment was a little on the small side for 3 but clean and well furnished. Frank was very communicative and helpful. Would stay again.

Quiet location near the Tower.

Small flat but very well equipped. Pleasant leafy view with bird song in the mornings. Close to no.100 bus and 15 minute walk to underground or overground trains. Good location for exploring the East End. Thames Path walk to Canary Wharf is very interesting with old riverside pubs along the way.

Perfect for two!

My daughter and I spent a fantastic week at the Wapping flat. We loved the quiet neighborhood close to several transport options (15-25 minutes walking to three different Tube stations and just feet to a bus), and found it to be a great jumping-off point for several adventures. If you don’t mind being a bit off the beaten track, it’s fantastic. It would be cramped with four people unless some were young children or you really like each other.
