Family vacation

We were able to have a great time with family. The fact that property was within a minute to the beach was great with 2 seniors and 2 kids. We were able to pack lite and go to the house if we forgot something. Gate lock should be fixed it wasn’t able to lock at all. On other properties we stayed the door to the pool had an alarm. This one didn’t had any. Balcony should have an extra safety lock. Traveling with toddlers those things see important. Overall we had an amazing time

Great house

Property was fantastic. It is one house from the bay and 3 houses away from the gulf. We saw a bunch of sunsets and sunrises on the roof deck. Pool was big enough for our family of 5 to swim in and take a break from a day at the beach. We took bikes to bridge street most nights for dinner where you can find plenty of options. House had 2 kayaks and 3 bikes for us to use. Houses is also a quick bike ride to longboat key where we are at Whitney’s. Probably the best food we had while there.

Perfect location

The property was clean, well maintained, walking distance to the beach, exactly like it was described. Perfect for few families with kids. Has a pool that is maintained and with hot tub. Highly recommend.

Great location.

Best location on the entire island due to its proximity to the beach, the bay, and Bridge Street with all its restaurants, shops, and bars. The house was perfect and the pool and spa were just what we needed after a long day on the beach.

The area and the house were un pretty good condition considering the hurricane. We were told 5 times prior to arriving that the pool was in working order but it was not working at all. Very disappointing, that was a key

Perfect family vacation

This was the perfect location for our annual family vacation! Was great for the kids and we were even able to bring our dog along. Just steps away from the beach, this was a great spot on AMI- easily accessible to the restaurants and bridge street pier. We even went to longboat key for dinner one night. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool/spa provided a nice break from the beach.

Perfect Location!

Really great property! Responsive and helpful staff! Can Walk to anywhere you want, or ride the trolley right next to the house. Would definitely stay here again!

Great friends & family trip!

We had the absolute best time staying in Bradenton Beach, as no one from our group of 12 had been before. The rental group was amazing and went above and beyond even letting us stow our luggage when we arrived well before check in & left well after. The house is in a great location and everyone in our group had a blast! We’ve definitely found a new “beach town!”

Great property

Walking distance to the beach. A lot of amenities available and seamless check in process. Minor issues with ice machine not working but this did not affect our vacation.

Perfect Family Retreat

This house was great. It held 13 of us- 3 families with teens and college age kids. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking big meals. Everything worked great. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed daily. There was beach equipment like chairs, umbrellas, and even kayaks. I would stay there again for sure.

Great house in a great location.

Loved that we could walk to the beach. The spacious covered patio was very popular with my family, although a couple of ceiling fans would have made it perfect. The pool was a big hit for the kids, including the very shallow part the baby could enjoy. The hot tub was also popular. Inside, the kitchen was very nice, especially the long bar with multiple barstools. The master suite was amazing! Beautiful decor throughout!

Hot tub didn’t heat until last night

My code to get in didn’t work but Emma was very responsive The hot tub wasn’t heating up and didn’t get fixed until our last night which was too bad as it was chilly outside and would have nice to have used sooner as that was a big sell for us Again Emma was very responsive and kind and the location was great

Perfect spot for families!

We had a wonderful time at Mermaids Landing! The house was perfect for our 3 families (we have kiddos ages 9-2) with plenty of space and awesome location walkable to the beach and Bridge Street! The pool/backyard area was beautiful and we spent many afternoons and evenings poolside! The only slight complaint of the house is there is no 1/2 bath or powder room off the main living area or downstairs area so everyone had to use their “assigned family bathroom” in a bedroom. But otherwise the house was great! Also highly recommend The Local Grocer for full service grocery delivery service (including alcohol!) Made getting our vacation going seamless upon arrival to the house. We would rent this home again if our travels take us back to AMI!

Amazing Beach House!

We rented Emma's house for a family reunion during Thanksgiving for my family of eleven adults and the house was perfect! The location itself is amazing as you literally can walk right to the beach. The beaches here are truly beautiful and being able to walk down to see the sunset on the beach every evening was a real treat for us all. We had never been to Anna Maria Island before and we all so fell in love with the charm of the place. It truly is a beautiful and laid back piece of heaven. We also loved that you could walk right into town and hit the local spots or drive a bit for some great restaurants as well. Nothing was ever too far at all. We never took the town trolley but loved the idea that we could. The house itself is very lovely with beautiful decorating throughout, yet it felt very comfortable. Every bedroom and bathroom was well kept and spotless with plenty of clean linens and towels for all. The kitchen was great and have everything we needed for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal. We loved the pool and appreciated having the outside space to relax and play cards. The bikes were very much appreciated and we used them every day. Overall we loved the house and would rent from Emma again as it was the perfect place for a very lovely week in Anna Maria Island. Emma was the perfect host and was so on top of our communication the entire time and we so appreciated all the extra touches and considerations she gave us once we arrived. This house is beautiful! Thanks Emma!

Great location & customer service! (Interior fixes needed)

This property had an amazing location and responsive customer service, however aspects of our stay were not as expected. As a fully managed property I would have expected missing / broken items to have been addressed prior to our arrival, or at least have been informed before we arrived - this included towel bars broken and on the floor, missing / damaged beach cruisers, temperature of the pool / spa, lightbulbs in need of replacement. In addition the kitchen was stocked with all of the equipment we would have expected but much of it was in poor condition and the cleaning of the kitchen was inadequate - the drain of the garbage disposal hadn't been properly cleaned and gave off a terrible order when we ran the faucet; a little elbow grease in wiping out the plastic drain cover was all that was needed but for what we paid for the property I expect that to have been done prior to our arrival. Overall the property had a great amount of space but some of the rooms felt tiny because the size of the bed took up almost the entire room, and the water pressure on the top floor was extremely low. I would quickly follow all of this by stating that anytime I reached out to the property contact they were very responsive and dealt with most of our issues timely. The location could not be beat, literally a skip and jump away from a gorgeous beach and a rooftop deck that provided amazing views of the sunrise on the bay and sunset over the gulf!

Nice location for family with young adults

The location of the property was nice, close to the beach and walkable distance to the restaurants and bars. The house was nice, however, did have some flaws. We had to repair the ceiling fan above couch which looked like one of the blades would fall off. (there was a previous comment about this issue that apparently wasn't fixed). The pool fountain did not work and the tv outside was broke, there was also not enough beach chairs for a house that hold 14 adults and 2 of the chairs that were there were broke. The Host did fix the TV and provide a few new beach chairs for us while we were there. She responded quickly to my texts which was nice. The cleanliness of the place was subpar. We washed some of the bedding when we arrived because they felt sandy, around the pool there was some trash from what looked like New Years Eve party. The garage was sandy after last tenants that must have had little kids. The wagon was full of toys and sand which we cleaned and washed out. There were also towels from the last tenant on the roof deck that we ended up washing because there were not enough beach towels. I would say we left the house better than when arrived. The Kitchen was nice and well equipped, the beds were comfortable. Overall it is a very nice location and house, just needs a little better up keep. The house was down the street from the road, so it was nice a quiet. If asked if we would we stay there again? Answer: Yes.
