Wonderful place for a group of friends. Very roomy, VERY well stocked with everything needed for this type of stay and an amazing unbeatable location. Excellent value. An older property but the quality and quantity of bedding, towels, soaps etc more than made up for that. Very comfortable beds. Wonderful shower! Loads of great cafes and restaurants around and lovely walks everywhere. Saw whales breaching from the kitchen and enjoyed the daily heron visits. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

Accessible Suite

We were please with how accessible the suite was for people in wheelchairs. Very spacious with good ramps in the back. We were able to use a Hoyer lift in this space. Very clean.

One of My Favourites!

A beautiful, spacious location perfect for friends and family, with everything needed in the kitchen and unit. The view was stunning, and the hosts were communicative and friendly, which was greatly appreciated. This was the second visit, and it did not disappoint.

Beach House Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Qualicum Bay! Beach Croft was a great spot for our little family and our friends. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring the beach. We went on many day trips to explore the area too! It is a perfect spot for kayaking and paddleboarding!! We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Retreat

We so enjoyed this property, cannot get closer to the beach. When it was stormy so mystifying to watch the waves break over the rock wall. Hosts were always available and very helpful. Would highly recommend this rental house. FANTASTIC.

Amazing Views

Thank you so much for the wonderful week! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beachhouse was so comfortable and had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. It was the perfect stepping off spot to beatiful destinations on the island. We went up to Campbell River and Strathcona Provincial Park, went out to Long Beach and Ucluelet, Goats on the Roof and spent time in Qualicom Bay. We will highly recommend this place and hope to one day return!

Fantastic beach getaway

The location is perfect and property very big inside and out. Old but clean. It could do with a couple of new pieces of furniture i.e couch and chairs but this is a rustic property so don’t expect the best. The location is perfect and having morning coffee listening to tide and smell of ocean was heaven. Family of 8 were very happy😊👍

Amazing family trip

It was beautiful, the house the yard, the view. We all had an amazing time walking the ocean, having fires. The couple running it were so sweet and helpful. Great for all ages. We had my parents and 4 kids, ages 12,11,2,1. All had a great time!! Only thing I would suggest is maybe new beds, mine was very creaky.

beautiful ocean view to wake to

We loved our family vaca here for the first time on the ocean and the kids and I loved waking up to the ocean and low tide exploring for shells and sunrises. The hosts are amazing and helpful and kind.The beds are comfy and I found out in the middle of the night that the king bed was a massaging adjustable bed when my little one had rolled over on the remote and activated the bed at 1:20 a.m. lol!Nice extra feature I didnt even know about. All the beds were comfy and the towels soft and fluffy too! It is right on the ocean highway but its a quiet highway and the property is gated and easy to find. Such a peaceful area to be in, So glad I had this one on the ocean and not in a neighborhood!I would definitely reccomend especially for sleeping 8 it was perfect and priced fair compared to what is out for there for 8 people.

Accessible

We were very pleased with the accessibility of the property. The ramps into the beach house made it very easy for our person in a wheelchair to enter the beach house. The master bedroom was large enough to accommodate the wheelchair. He loved the King size bed in that room with its adjustable electric positioning. We all loved our seaside patio view and had breakfast outside on most mornings. The fire pit was a special treat. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Awesome ocean view and lovely beach house

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very spacious. The view of the ocean is spectacular and there are lots of spots in the house to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, baking, eating and drinking. The house has one full bathroom and a half bathroom which worked great. The full bath was nicely stocked with soaps, shampoo and a hairdryer. It really felt like the owners have put in great efforts to anticipate their guest needs. There’s even some spots around the house to charge your phone. Just bring your own cable and you’re good. We loved the outside where we relaxed under the gazebo taking in the gorgeous ocean sights and sounds. The bay that the house is located in is an awesome spot to paddle board as the water is fairly shallow and temperate. There’s another rental house on the property where you will probably see those guests walking by now and then on their way down to the ocean as the entry point is just past this house. It wasn’t a problem as there’s low fencing around this house to prevent anyone from encroaching on your space or privacy. Overall we found this house awesome and will definitely come back.

The house was in a position with a view of the sea, but there were high rocks and it was impossible to walk down. In addition to the service charge, there is an additional cleaning fee, and some of the costs are not informed in advance. Worst of all, we were asked to remove all used sheets, covers, and pillowcases when we left. If you get up early to catch the ferry, you won't make it. I feel like I've been in prison for a few days, and I'm not here on vacation, I'm here to clean their rooms. In short, not only will I not rent this house in the future, but I also don't want to use this platform anymore. It's too insecure.

Beautiful and Relax Beachfront

Clean and comfortable beach house. We love our stay, great walk on the beach everyday and wake up to see the amazing sunrise. Property managers are incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed, thanks Dawn for sharing the local corns.

Beautiful and private beachfront

We loved our stay, very private, and lovely beach house. We had three little grandsons who enjoyed the beach everyday. We saw Orca whales and jellyfish and crabs. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Jeff and Dawn.

Peaceful cabin on the waterfront

Property managers are incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The cabin is rustic and cozy. The view is magnificent and just a few steps from the water.

Walk on waterfront

Great walk on waterfront location. The cottage is spacious yet cozy with all the amenities provided. There are great hikes leading to waterfalls and super eateries nearby. We had a very relaxing time taking it all in.

My wife and I are nature lovers, we truly enjoy West Coast Canadian lifestyle. Bird and whale watching, fishing and walks along the beaches,rain forests or the local hatcheries. We have a very vibrant healthy ecosystem here at Qualicum Bay and you can see many marvellous things happen before your eyes. Many times you will have a photo opportunity of an eagle swooping down and getting a large salmon. Every spring we have the herring fish run in front of the property, this is the season for whale and seal watching. The nature sight seeing is world renowned and many Alaska cruise-ships pass the property during the summer.

We love the small friendly quiet community. The air is scented by the sea and forest around the area. There are large cedars and fir trees on the property with a fresh water salmon bearing creek passing through to the ocean. Qualicum Bay is located very central on the island allowing one to travel to its extremities within hours.

What we love about the beach house is that it has a large ocean view living room with a beachstone fireplace and hardwood floor. Three bedrooms. The Master bedroom with ensuite and large ocean view picture window and you can see the view from the king sized electric bed.
