Beautiful beach side cabin

Great mid summer stay, love being so close to the beach and multiple nice spots to drive to in the area. Always love our stay here with the big deck, bbq and comfortable cabin

It was comfortable and lovely. Beautiful view at the beach with the sunrise. Easy to find and the area surroundings are very clean and pleasant.

Great location, close to all conveniences, shopping, sight seeing, day trips, very quiet with great neighbours, and we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Island beach perfection

Cabin was amazing with its huge deck for hanging out on. Beach is literally seconds away. Kitchen was well stocked. We would book at this amazing little getaway again.

Very nice cabin, could accommodate family with kids. Close to beach, but view obstructed by row of smaller cabins directly in front. Close to Salish Market in Bowser, and also Qualicum Beach. Good amenities, kitchen well appointed for cooking, grilling, baking. Very pleasant stay.

Cozy Ocean Get Away

We had a marvellous time in this cute little cabin by the ocean. A daily swim, coffee on the beach and walks down by the shore became an easy routine. This place was a perfect get away for my family who loved spending time together either inside the cabin, or outside on the larger deck. Will be rebooking this place again sometime in the near future.

Four senior adults one with cane. We had a very comfortable stay. There is a bit of a steepSlope to get up and down or stairs to second level that we had not understood when we booked. We had a little difficulty at first locating cabin and accessing, all our fault!

Bald Eagle Haven

Through the inquiry process, all the way through our stay, our hosts were warm, courteous, and helpful. The view is amazing, the neighbors very friendly, the beach steps from the property, and well situated to Qualicum and Comox. House had all amenities that other places usually forget. Very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Spacious well equipped cabin with a beautiful view.

Very relaxing and enjoyed sitting at beach front fire pits. Saw eagles swooping down to grab fish and seals bopping their heads up. Lots of good hiking trails near by. Food stores close by. Good time had by all. We would definitely return. Loved it.

Just wonderful

We left with regret this paradise corner, the house is very welcoming and comfortable, well equipped kitchen side, great bedding; the view is stunning , you are at the water’s edge, pebble beach, car access is easy (perfect explanation for access by the host) and you have a superette accessible on foot; if I could put more than 5 stars it would be without hesitation

Lovely cozy cottage

What a little gem. We loved this property. A pretty good view of the water. In June, very quiet. There are multiple cottages nearby but everyone we encountered was friendly and interested in knowing about us ;) It is a great location for exploring the island. The kitchen is very well equipped but no dishwasher which was ok for us, no tv or laundry but good Wi-Fi. A very good BBQ. It is a simple cottage but very nice and has a beautiful big deck. The beds were good. We recommend this property and hope to rent it again in the coming months as family lives very close by. The owner we dealt with was amazing! Thank you Sandra!!

Great Location but needs a cleaning.

Over all we enjoyed our stay, beds are fine, but # 19 cabin was not very clean. Spider webs in most corners of bathroom and kitchen. Needs a general cleaning.

Views of the sea and a bald eagle as your closest neighbour

The cabin surpassed our expectations. You have a good view of the water from inside the cabin and from the deck. The property is decently spaced out from the others nearby. In fact, our closest neighbour was actually a bald eagle, often perched up a tall tree next to the property. I had a lovely time here with my partner and parents. We're all from the UK and it ticked the Canadian cabin experience off. I would definitely recommend a day trip to nearby Hornby Island.

The property is in a peaceful location on the seafront, with parking directly outside and views of the ocean from the lovely big deck area out front - which has deckchairs and outdoor dining furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, very soft bed linen, and there’s plenty of space. Decent sound system (Sonos). It makes a good base for exploring this area.We thought the bathroom smelled musty - we cleaned, mopped and removed the bath mats, which helped, but the mustiness lingered. The host did quickly arrange for new bath mats to be delivered. There’s no air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, or TV, and not really any amenities within easy walking distance (restaurants, bars etc) so this is very much a “get away from it all” location!

Peaceful Cabin

Property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and exceptionally well-equipped. Your cleaning lady, Roxanna, was very helpful and accessible. Due to fire ban and the hot weather we were unable to use the firepit or fireplace. We had friends visit us for one of our days and they found the cabin very nice as well. We were bothered some with wasps outside on the deck and suggest adding some wasp traps and an electric zapper (the tennis racquet shaped device). We will recommend your place to anyone enquiring. Beautiful area

The location was fantastic, the deck was wonderful to use and we spent many hours watching for sea life. The house appeared not to have either been visited for awhile or cleaned thoroughly, as spider webs were in many wall corners and between indoor furniture legs as well as in all windows. There was also some hair in the bathtub. We had wished the indoor dining area and living area had window screens so we could have brought more of that fresh sea air into the house. Beyond that, everything was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay 🙂

My only suggestion would be to have a map of some kind to show where the garbage was located. It was a bit difficult to find when we were leaving. Enjoyed our stay.
