Quaint and beachy. Great for families! Owner was very communicative and responsive. Loved the enclosed porch/deck area. Comfortable beds. AC worked well. Great location - peaceful but also very easy to drive to the beach.

Terrible

Beds were extremely uncomfortable, the floor was more comfortable. The four all seasons room floor was soaking wet upon arrival and we had heavy rainfall during our stay which leaked into the floors. After check out the owner didn’t ask however accused me of having pets in the condo. I have animals at home and always have dog hair on me the cleaning crew found a few strands of dog hair while vacuuming and instead of asking the owner was extremely rude and accusatory towards me. Do not recommend nor will we return.

Perfect little getaway in a quiet neighborhood, within a short driving distance to the beach. Absolutely would stay here again and highly recommend! Owner extremely responsive and friendly.

James' property had everything we needed and the notes and communication he provides is very convenient! Great condo located in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay again!

The Good, the bad and the ugly

Good- price, location, check in process, onsite pool Bad- pull out couch did not work so one of our party had to sleep on the floor, very very dated and cluttered Ugly- floor was filthy- the bottom of our feet were black within 5 minutes of arrival. Owner's response was very quick and apologetic but no solution offered.

Single mom retreat

Property was extremely safe. Nice area. Place really needs a new pullout couch, and a TV in the master bedroom. If the neighborhood had a playground that would have been better but quite a few in short driving distance. Pool was 5 stars! Check in was easy and owner was very fast on responses.

Easy beach stay

The condo was perfect for our needs and well situated to easily get to beaches. We appreciated having access to a pool and being in quiet, residential area. James was super helpful, quick to respond to any questions, and very friendly.

Comfortable, convenient

We've returned to this property four times in recent years. It is perfect for us: small, clean, comfortable. It is not fancy -- but it is homey, and we appreciate that. The beach is just a short drive away (five-ten minutes, depending on traffic). The development is very quiet -- this year we noticed a bachelorette party staying in another rental unit, and expected the worst, but we didn't hear a thing. The owner is super-responsive to questions or problems, and that is one of the things that has kept us coming back.

Great location

James was a good host. Seamless checkin & out. Fixtures and Furniture a bit outdated but charming and clean. Location was great, as listed, close to beach, restaurants, and entertainment. Would stay again!!

Loved the location!

This rental is in a very quiet neighborhood, not too close to all of the traffic of Bethany Beach. We safely rode bikes around the development and could walk to the large community pool. There was plenty of free parking right outside of our door. We ate at three of the many great restaurants within10 minutes of the condo; and there is a grocery store, a CVS and a local produce stand very close by. (5 min.)The rental was clean and had everything we needed. Wi-fi and cable worked fine and there is a washer/dryer in the unit. We loved sitting in the sunroom for morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evening. Very peaceful! The owner responded to all of my questions very quickly. Because we were there the 4th of July week, we decided to use the beach by the large bridge. There was plenty of parking and it wasn't as crowded as in Bethany. I believe it was called Delaware State Seashore park.

Great location

Great location, short drive to Bethany Beach. In between Rehobeth beach and Ocean City Maryland so you can check out all. Great communication with the owner, easy check in. Yes the place is older but you know that going in, and it was clean. Like other commenters have said, you need to bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. I would also bring extra toilet paper.

A great choice

This was our third year renting this property. James is a helpful and responsive owner, and we like the size and convenience of the condo. It's a great option for us and we plan to return next year.

Perfect stay for a low-key family vacation

This is the greatest hidden gem for a family beach vacation! The property is clean and bedrooms are the perfect size/layout for a small family to enjoy hanging out together but also to have privacy from the kids when they go to bed. The neighborhood has a great pool just a minute walk away from the apartment, which is a selling point for us and we used almost every day. Drive to the beach each morning was very easy and less than 5 minutes to easy beach parking, but with older kids you could even bike instead of drive. Owner is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again when we return to Bethany!

Just about perfect

Condo was exactly as expected, very clean and comfy. A little farther away from the action than we like, but we knew that when we rented. It was a quick drive to Bethany Beach and all that Bethany has to offer. Also not too far from Dewey, Rehoboth, or Delaware Seashore state park. Neighborhood is clean and quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. Community pool was nice and close by.

Still a great fit!

This was our second year renting this condo, and once again, it was an ideal fit for us: the right size, conveniently located, with everything we needed (AC, full kitchen, washer/dryer, two full baths) and none of the frills that we don't need and would rather not pay for. The owner is very easy to contact and quick to reply to any questions. We plan to be back in 2023!
