It is easy to go on and on about our stay at this property.
1. Location - Geographically situated for easy day trips to some of the most beautiful and grand locations on earth. But equally important, the property is at 7500ft elevation. So on the days it was 99F in the valleys, it was a cool 75F at this elevation. This made all the difference for our August vacation. Daily, we embarked for our day trips very early and then returned in ample time to relax on a cool and breezy back porch. Kick on the grill, freshen up and enjoy dinner on the porch. Location, location, location.
2. Kitchen - Having a stocked kitchen was so helpful. It's the little things you forget when you make your initial grocery run. Dana started us off with eggs, milk, coffee, etc. But there was a residual amount of other supplies that were so helpful. The kitchen itself was spacious, able to accommodate several of us at one time. The fridge/freezer was sufficiently sized to contain our once-and-done grocery trip to Walmart in Cedar City.
3. Bathrooms - Four bathrooms was a gift.
4. Bedrooms - The master suite (king bed) was the size of many living rooms. Upstairs there were 1 large and two smaller bedrooms. All three with queen beds. Mattresses were high end and a joy to sleep upon. An slightly open window each night allowed the mid-50s temps to seep in for a luxurious cuddle underneath the warm comforters.
5. Activities - While we never had time to use the ping pong and foosball tables, they were available for those interested. Rather, our favorite activities centered around the back porch. We sipped milkshakes, dined, played Rummikub, and chatted out on the back deck while we watched the many mule deer graze in our and our neighbors backyards. We did get out once for a game of horseshoes.
6. Communication & Consideration - Dana was thoughtful, informed and prompt in messages back and forth.
7. Value - With 7 adults splitting the cost, our lodging was very affordable. Making and eating meals together was a big part of our experience and also made the stay very economical.
8. Utility - Downstairs contained a seperate laundry room. We took advantage of it regularly.
9. Destinations - We went to Cedar Breaks, Zion (2X), Bryce, North Rim, Grand Staircase (Grosvenor Arch and Cottonwood Narrows). BTW, when over near Bryce, it's worth a trip to i.d.k. BBQ in Tropic, UT. (Best BBQ Joint in Utah, 2020 - Insider)
