Big sister of the Gite “Chez Milou” (Ref: HDFR 6593389), this old family home in the heart of a property of eight hectares of woods and meadows opened for rental in spring 2021.
Ideally located at the gates of the Périgord Noir and close to the main sites such as: Sarlat, Lascaux, the Vézère valley, the Dordogne valley, Périgueux and Brantome, you can also indulge in many leisure activities such as: canoeing, tree climbing branching, horse riding, visiting numerous castles, caves, museums and even exploring long-distance hiking trails; There is something for every taste . Calm and spacious, this old family house, renovated, has lost none of its charm and authenticity. With all the comfort, two bathrooms (plus one in the pool house), 5 bedrooms, new bedding, fireplace, two living rooms, equipped kitchen; you will feel the warm and family atmosphere of the place. In the summer, you will enjoy its large private swimming pool (heated from 05/18/2024 to 09/28/2024 outside this period a supplement will be requested from our residents) and its terrace with a very beautiful unobstructed view of the forest, against the setting sun; don't forget your towels. For walkers, it will be possible to stroll on the property surrounding you or even look for mushrooms in season in our woods. In its large orchard, apple trees, peach trees, cherry trees and medlar trees will allow you to enjoy fruits guaranteed without treatment. Living nearby (400 m) we will not fail, if you wish, to guide you in your choices of visits, hiking restaurants.

great house for a quiet holiday

We had a very pleasant stay in this house. Its at a quiet location with a view over a field. With good weather you can stay in the pool house, where there is ample seating, a fridge and a grill. When the weather became really hot the house was very warm on the first floor, there are fans. Downstairs there is an airco to cool the bedrooms. The owners and there family are great helpful and friendly people.

Family holiday

Plenty of space indoors and outdoors . Everything you would need for a family holiday. There were 8 adults and a 3 year old and a baby. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was great and we were shown how to operate the pool cleaning. Lots of outdoor seating made eating outdoors very pleasant. Our hosts were very helpful when we were unable to put up the cot. Good WiFi.

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed for a week with three generations of adults ranging from 18 to 79 years old. The accomodation was just perfect. The yougsters took over the top floor, with thei own sitting room and we stayed downstairs. The house is just beautiful and very well appointed but the best bit for us was the pool area and petanque court. Just the most perfect setting. There is a toilet and shower out there as well as a gas bbq and running water, also a wonderful covered seating area. It is rural though and there is nothing in walking distance, but that was exactly what we wanted. I really do not have a negative thing to say!

Groot ruim huis van alle gemakken voorzien.Prachtig zwembad, fijn dat er babyspullen aanwezig waren. Ruime tuin, en mooie overkapping. Gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaars. Kortom we hadden een heerlijk weekje met onze kinderen en ons kleinkind. Houd er wel rekening mee dat restaurantjes ed een eindje rijden is.

Maison conforme aux images, idem pour la description faite de la maison, piscine et jardin. La maison est très grande avec un jardin splendide et une piscine chauffée, idéale lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui sont très sympathiques et qui connaissent bien la région: ils ont pu nous donner des conseils pour les visites et pour les restaurants. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Endroit très calme, piscine géante et prioritaires très sympathiques.Un endroit parfait pour se reposer et pour visiter ce si beau Perigord.Manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine et de nettoyage mais semaine super agréable.Allez manger au Manoir des cèdres (tout proche et très bon).

Fantastische plek met servicegerichte host

Ons verblijf was heerlijk. Een zeer gastvrije ontvangst door vriendelijke eigenaars met lekkers en bloemen op tafel en tips voor boodschappen. Mappen met folders voor de vele mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Veel ruimte voor iedereen, de overkapping met buitenkeuken, zithoek en eethoek is echt geweldig en nodigt uit tot veel buiten zijn. Er zijn veel activiteiten bij huis te doen in gezelschap: een petanque baan, tafelvoetbal, tafeltennis, piano, zwembad, boeken. Een prachtige tuin met verschillende zitplaatsen. Het uitzicht achter is heel mooi. Een aanrader, wij hebben erg genoten!

Deux semaines au calme. La maison est superbe, très confortable et très bien équipée. La piscine et le préau sont parfaits, de beaux couchers de soleil. Une région superbe, des hôtes adorables. Bref nous recommandons vivement et y retournerons à nouveau.

Excellent accueil, propriétaires sympathiques et à l'écoute. Location très bien située et agréable , bien chauffée.. La météo n'a pas permis d'apprécier l'ensemble à sa juste valeur. Avec ses équipements, la maison de charme "Chez Paulette" doit-être extra.

Nous avons passé des vacacances au calme avec une vue magnifique sur la foret et un couché de soleil qu'à nous Les propriaitaires sont tres aimables , réatifs et discrets. La maison et la piscine nous ont rafrachis pendant la canicule. Que du bonheur pendant un moi.
