What a beautiful rental! It was perfect for our party of 8! It had everything we needed and was close to the beach! The kids loved the pool!

We have stayed at the Leeward Keys a few times and never have any issues. I love that they have 2 pools available as well easy and fast communications.

Amazing place

Great location and spacious condo

Leeward Key is located near everything. The heated pool on the beach and beach access are perfect. The 4bdrm condo was perfect for two families with kids ranging from infant to 13. In this specific unit the dishwasher really didn't work well, so bring throw away plates and utensils. Lots of dirty dishes were in the cabinets when we arrived. No salt/pepper. No beach chairs. Plenty of bath towels were in all bathrooms, but need your own beach towels.

Beautiful setting in Miramar Beach

A great time of year to visit the panhandle of Florida! Just prior to our visit, RealJoy reached out to us to let us know a piece of furniture was being replaced that did not impact the quality of our stay. Within 12 hours of checking in we found another issue that was immediately addressed. The issue was on going and we were in touch with an agent each day. Each time Real Joy agents continued to reach out. In the end solutions were offered and we were satisfied. I would definitely rent through RealJoy Vacations again. The issues with the unit are being addressed.

When we walked in, there was roaches in the bedroom, dishes were not playing that was in the cabinet

When we walked in, there were two live roaches in the bedroom, one came out from under the chair. The dishes in the cabinet was not clean, and the hot water was not very hot. And I had a hard time getting the information that I needed to get in the room.

Lots of bed options, convenient location, 2 pools

We enjoyed our stay in Leeward Key 401. Pros: The location was close to the beach and the 2 pools were lots of fun for the kids. There were 2 restaurants right next door (Captain Dave's and Kenny D's), and another a bit of a walk down the road (Crab Trap or Shack- can't remember). You definitely need a car if you want to be able to go to the grocery store, but there is a Publix and a Whole Foods right around the corner. There is an ocean view from the living room and the 2 king bedrooms. Cons: The unit itself is in sore need of some TLC. There was no mattress pad on the king beds - just a thin sheet over the mattress, the AC barely cools the unit, and all of the kitchen cooking utensils are miniature somehow? The Keurig worked but the water tasted rotten so I think the filter needs to be changed, or add a kettle option. There were large rips in all of the outdoor chair cushions. Regardless you can tell it is a well loved place, we just wish that the bedding were nicer/there was more of it. Housekeeping needs to do a better job because we found candy wrappers and a medicine doser just under the dust ruffle in one of the bedrooms. Additionally the main floor hallway smelled strongly of vomit 2 of the morning's we were there. And always smelled like cigarette smoke. Could have been a group staying there at the time but still, should have been addressed. Overall a good stay, I realize now we were paying for the amazing view and beach and pool friendly location. Fun vacation for our group!

huge problem with lock-waited a total of 3 hours trying to get into property, most of time in heat

Being locked out of property and waiting for 2 hours to get in with 2 babies past nap time and crying in hot hallway was awful.They did give me a visa gift card when I am trying to figure out how to use.Lock incidents occurred Friday night ans Sunday afternoon. Son had to break in with credit card, which was damaged.

Great space!

The layout of this condo is great! We had 2 families of 4 staying for 5 nights and there was room for everyone! Comfy beds, stocked kitchen. The freezer draw on the fridge seemed to not close all the way so it ran loudly alot and only kept some things frozen. We love staying at Leeward Key, great access to beach, pool, and restaurants!!

Dishwasher needs upgraded, we had to wash many items by hand after they were ran through the washer. Dishes in the cabinets were also not clean.

Good Location Horrible People

Location was good directly across from the beach. When we first checked in there was a Gatorade bottle that was left in one of the bedrooms. One of the dressers in one of the bedrooms had mold under the glass between the drawers. There was also a hole in one of the couch pillows. Once we checked out at 10am we received a phone call at 2pm accusing us of stealing a cable box from the living room when we never touched the cable box. The representative was extremely rude when she called and very threatening stating that we are going to have to pay for the cable box and we should not have taken it. It looks like they have accused people in the past of stealing remotes and other items from rooms as well. I would not rent from the place again at all and I do not recommend that anyone else.

Real Joy

Overall we had a good stay. The property was safe and clean. We only had two concerns... Water kept leaking on the floor in the kitchen (Maintenance came to fix it but it continued to leak). And secondly, we had a clean up fee that wasn't disclosed until after we paid and had a quoted price. It was later charged to my credit card. The company said that they had to manually put in the fee but since I purchased it at 1030pm no one was in the manually put in the fee. And no they wouldn't waive the fee.

Nice condo and great location

The condo was very nice. The only reason I gave the check-in process 4 stars was because, as of check-in time, I still hadn't received the door code information. I had to call to ask for it to be sent to me. Beds were comfortable. One complaint about the unit, and this is something the owners can fix easily, the thermostat wouldn't allow a setting below 70 degrees. Many in my group are used to sleeping in a cooler house at night so we were too warm when we slept. We used the ceiling fans in the rooms that had them, and we had 1 floor fan that we used. Owners need to change this setting to allow for cooler temps for sleeping.

June Family Vacation

The location of this property and the entire area is a great place to vacation. We enjoyed the two pools and proximity to the beach. The unit was sized appropriately for 9 guests and all the appliances, kitchen utensils and furnishings were adequate. The unit's furnishings and some of the common areas could use a modern upgrade. Overall a good value and great location.
