This charming, pet friendly, recently renovated three bedroom, two bath ranch style home will make the perfect vacation home for you and your furry friends (allows dogs under 50lbs)! The updated kitchen, large screen TVs, and dining room for 6 give the perfect homey vibe. Once you are ready to crash after a long day enjoying the island you can rest your head on the updated bedding in the bedrooms or the sleeper sofa in living room. Additional amenities to make your stay more comfortable include a fully renovated enclosed outside shower on back of home, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cable television, Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer. This is a wonderful family friendly home where the owners love to spend time creating special memories with their children and young grandchildren and wish the same for their rental guests! Linens included. Wi-Fi., Pets allowed with $100 non-refundable per pet pet rent. NO SMOKING

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

The house has a nice open layout, comfortable beds, and is in a quiet location that’s walkable to the beach and close to grocery stores. However, a few things made the stay less enjoyable. The front door no longer has the curtain shown in the photos, leaving the inside of the home fully visible from outside. The kitchen was advertised as fully stocked, but it was hard to tell because everything was disorganized and many items didn’t look clean. The rest of the home was tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Booking through VRBO led to a confusing rental process that required signing a four page rental form prior to arrival, then picking up a packet and signing even more paperwork in person. which felt unnecessary and outdated given this could have been done via email or the app. The Wi-Fi required registering through a pop-up, which prevented me from connecting my laptop or baby monitor, and the staff wasn’t particularly helpful. They sent me a text telling me to text someone else. We just ended up using our phone hotspot and running up the entire data. Overall, if you are looking for a comfy place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time on the beach, this is a great place for you.

Great location! Nice home. We were disappointed by ...no additional garbage bags except the one in the trash barrel, no condiments or supplies for a home away from home, 3 women 4 rolls of tp, kitchen/ bbq utensils almost nonexistent. Bulbs burnt out, we bought some, wrong ones! We've stayed multiple places over the past 25 years with none of these issues with VRBO properties. We did have a great time!

The property is slightly more run down than the photos show.Pros: very comfortable beds, kitchen is well stocked, neighborhood is great, lots of TVs, WIFI works well, clean linens, working washer/dryer.Cons: very musty smell, cockroaches in several places, visible water damage on one kitchen wall, dirty living room furniture.

Its very comfortable, beds were cool and soft, lots of ceiling fans and cool AC felt awesome after lots of walks back and forth to the beach and IOP downtown restaurants. Loved the proximity to the grocery store. Only negative was the washer and dryer didn't work for us so salty sweaty clothes got hand rinsed and dried a lot. But we did report it and said we really didn't mind if it couldn't be fixed for us. Just wanted to report. They did send someone to look at it right away. I do hope it gets fixed for the next visitors! Would come again.

Family Weekend

The property was excellent for a multi-generational family weekend with a dog. We especially enjoyed the big family room table and the back yard.

It’s less than a 3 minute walk to the beach and everything on the island is only a 5 minute drive/golf cart ride away like the grocery store, restaurants/bars and excursions! The beach bungalow vibe was comfortable and its roomy living areas made it very easy to entertain, relax and kick your feet back! The backyard was absolutely ideal for our dog Charlie and for us too! Loved the outdoor shower! The beds were extremely comfortable! We would definitely stay here again! Everyone was so warm and welcoming at Island Realty! Everyone was extremely helpful in the reservations department! So a big thank you to all at island realty!

IOP fall getaway

We had a very nice stay for our week getaway on IOP. I did contact the management company about a few issues we had with our rental property. They were quick to respond and hopefully will be relayed to the owner for future renters. The house overall was everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were really comfortable. We are always thankful when we can find a pet friendly rental especially one that is within walking distance to the beach.

The furniture and rug in the living room are very dingy and dirty. Think the odor in the house is partly caused from that. The air vent in the hall way was caked with dust-so much we ended up cleaning it off to help with the air flow. There was a refrigerator filter and fork left in the sink in the kitchen. The ice maker does not work. Dishwasher smelled awful. The floors had hair and dirt, didn’t seem to be swept. The tub was stopped up and slow to drain. Bed was clean and comfortable though (we only used one, not sure about the other 3). Yard is fenced which would be a plus for kids or animals. We only stayed a few nights and spent majority of the time away from the house, if I were staying longer I wouldn’t have been happy with the condition of the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visit the Isle Of Palms often and pick a different house every time. This location was close to the intracoastal in a shady spot. So relaxing. Plenty of space for our visiting family. I would add backyard lighting as there is not much to speak of. We grilled a few times and it was very dark. The yard was fenced in, which was perfect for our dogs. They enjoyed their stay as well. I would definitely come back to this property!

It was okay

It was okay. It was clean (a few bugs - to be expected) and close to amenities. A few items we would recommend addressing: musty smelling (affected brother's allergies); for a beach bungalow, not having beach towels was not expected; the beach chairs were rusty; the beach wagon/cart had a bent wheel so pulled to left constantly; the boogieboards were broke; no towel bars/hooks in bathrooms was odd; no potholders; had to pull front door towards you to get the lock to unlock; small bath showerhead could use replacing; and chains on NE bedroom would rattle which woke us up at times. Still - we did enjoy it for a place to crash and eat lunch and would stay there again. We were fortunate that the rest of our family was at a larger house just doors away so we spent most of our time there. We were also their as Hurricane Idalia (then tropical storm) came through and when asked about how we'd know where to go if told to evacuate, we didn't the response until the next morning.

Easy house

Good spot for quick beach trip. Not fancy but clean, good king bed and linens, good water pressure in shower. Easy walk to beach- beach cart in outside storage area. Sofa and chairs could use a cleaning and around the outside of house needs sprucing up/clean up and an outdoor hose is needed. Nice and close to grocery and all.

Great Stay. Has all the essentials

We had a great stay at this property. I give 5 stars for having all the essential items in the kitchen, and for everything in working order. We had six people -a family of four, including two toddlers and grandparents during our stay. One thing to note is that the living room is sunken by about 6 inches, so you'll have to get used to the step ( set expectations for mobility/accessibility or very small children) and the walking distance from the front door to the dunes of the beach is .44 miles; so a little further than the listing stated. This distance did change the way we used the house for beach breaks and meals than we had originally imagined. The rooms were well kept and comfortable. There were a few ants and spiders which is typical in SC for this time of year. Everything was clean when we arrived. We would stay again.

Perfect getaway

Place was super clean, easy to check in, the office was 2 mins from the house, no keys just PIN codes, so any body could get in in case they needed to. Straight shot to the beach 5 min walk, 10-20 buck Ubers to Charleston. Overall insane trip, vibes were immaculate, no hesitation would rent again.
