Funchal is great

Magnificent view of Funchal from the balcony, two bathrooms with large shower cubicles. The 2 km walk to and from the center of Funchal is a bit difficult, however. The walk there is all downhill and the return is a steep climb. Fortunately, there are plenty of buses available.

perfect view, good communication

We very much enjoyed our stay in the appartment. It had a good size for two persons and the balcony with its view was better than any TV programme. There was an issue with the sink in the kitchen (which btw is small but sufficient) when we arrived. The issue was solved with undue delay, so that we could enjoy our stay. Thanks for the immediate action, Pedro! The appartment has some noises due to the nearby big road which is not completely tunneld. But overall we really enjoyed our stay there and the friendliness of the inhabitants of Madeira.

We stayed for four weeks over the New Year, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. A very nice place, clean and bright, and we didn't miss anything, well perhaps a private parking lot, but with a little effort, place was to be found on the road. Since the city centre was cut off to traffic around midnight on New Years eve, we decided to see the fireworks from our large balcony, and it was incredible. There's a little café/taverna just outside run by a nice couple, where we had a couple of late evening drinks. A place to recommend 🙂🙂🙂

Mooi appartement, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben de eigenaren alleen bij aankomst gezien, maar wel enkele contact gehad via app of telefoon. Ze reageerden dan heel snel.

Super location à Funchal

Le logement proposé est très bien situé sur les hauteurs de Funchal, il y a 2 arrêts de bus à proximité qui nous ont permis de nous rendre sur les lieux de rando et au centre de la ville. La vue est à couper le souffle, nous avons profité du feu d’artifice depuis le balcon. Pour finir le logement est très propre et il y a tout le nécessaire. La communication avec nos hôtes c’est très bien passée, je recommande!

Updated Apartment with lovely view

It's right next to a small snack shop up in the hills above Funchal. There is a bus stop just up the road to take you to the Monte botanical gardens and the tobaggan rides. You can walk down to the Continente for groceries, but taking a Bolt (hire car) back up is easier. The owner is responsive and the small apartment is renovated. The second bedroom is very tiny.

Bester Platz in Funchal!

Die Lage des Hauses war einmalig, insbesondere für das große Silvesterfeuerwerk! In der Wohnung war Alles blitzblank sauber, der Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und die Küche für einen längeren Aufenthalt mit vielen Kochaktivitäten überkomplett ausgestattet! Darüber hinaus war es in der Wohnung trotz relativ zentralnaher Lage sehr ruhig. Wir kommen wieder!

Beautiful house in high location with great view

Owner: Very friendly and accommodating. Received us friendly and showed us everything. Named us shopping opportunities and more. Also during the stay we were informed about local festivals. A defect in the shower was repaired very quickly and without complications. House: Very nice, modern house with enough space. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and also fresh bed linen and towels were provided. On the balcony there were additional huge sun loungers, which were not visible in the pictures. Location: You are above the roofs of the other houses. Insanely beautiful view, especially at night you can see the city shine. Due to the high location, you can of course also perceive more sounds that the city and highway give of themselves. Since we have considered this, it was not a problem for us. Right nearby is a supermarket, which you can easily reach both on foot and by car. On foot, you should consider the location of the house and that you have to go up again on the way back. You should plan enough time for the way back, if you are not a super athlete. :D Just around the corner there is a cute bar where you can get food and drink. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience.
