Simply a very romantic heaven

Our 4th stay at Saint Ferreol and this is our favourite villa. Very spacious for the 2 of us.. In the mornings we have breakfast in the sun followed by a swim in the gorgeous blue waters of the marble finish pool. Then more sun and shade for lunch either al fresco or to one of many lovely local restaurants. Marseillan port is a favourite destination… a very picturesque, typically small rustic French port. Fabulous seafood and fish but also a wide choice for non seafood lovers. Also interesting to visit the Cave of Noilly Prat at the Port to taste their delicious vermouth. Tours in English are available. Then another swim a glass or two of a lovely wine and watch the sunset by the pool. A perfect end to a beautiful day !

Le Catalan

A great location for exploring the Herault region This house has everything you might wish for a perfect holiday. It is spacious enough for 4 people but cosy, comfortable and light. Pretty Toile fabrics used throughout made it feel very French and authentic. The Catalan fireplace was very impressive and we could imagine how lovely it would be in the cooler months to sit around and enjoy the crackling flames. The swimming pool is fantastic, with a lot of space and plenty of shady spots under Palm and Acacia trees. The Park and gardens provided lots of additional areas to wander around and the Play Area for the children was a big hit . Jorje & Ania are lovely people, and were a great help in recommending things to do. A week was too short so we will definitely be back to explore the remaining places on our list !
