Lovely stay at Port St Charles

The villa was perfect for my husband and me for our visit on island. The third story villa had a beautiful veranda and the view was lovely. Thanks, Karen for a fabulous stay.

Another brilliant holiday

We had stayed at this apartment in 2023 and were really looking forward to returning.It was even better than we remembered, very nicely furnished and decorated and with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.Port St Charles is a great place to stay with a fantastic beach and great pool and I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely apartment in paradise!

This was our second stay in Karen’s apartment we like it so much! Perfect for a couple and in the Port St Charles marina which has a lovely pool and the best beach on the island. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful Apartment!

Fantastic holiday at Port St Charles

We really enjoyed our stay in this immaculate apartment. It has a very good and spacious layout and lovely views from the balcony. The apartment is very comfortably furnished and the kitchen was great and very well equipped. We really enjoyed the beach where sun beds and umbrellas were set up for us every day by Hainsley who was very friendly. We have visited Barbados 6 times and felt that this was the nicest beach we had been on. We also liked the large roped off swimming area which meant we didn’t have to worry about passing jet skis which can be a bit dangerous when snorkelling off other beaches. We managed to see turtles whilst snorkelling on most days as well as lots of fish on the reef. This must be one of the best places to see Turtles on the west coast as a few boats came in every day for a short snorkel stop. We are very much hoping to stay here again on a future holiday and would highly recommend this wonderful apartment. My interactions with Karen the owner were great and she was extremely helpful.

Fantastic stay in a lovely apartment

We have just come back from a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment. The first thing to say is that the whole booking process and communication with the owner, Karen, was very easy, with Karen answering any questions we had before going. Despite being a little late arriving we were met at the apartment by a member of the property management team that made that process so much easier. The apartment itself is wonderful, very well equipped and the view from the balcony was fantastic. Glorious sunsets most evenings. Port St Charles was a lovely complex, very quiet when we were there, however that meant we mostly had the pool and beach to ourselves. We regularly saw turtles in the clear waters of the port and flying fish were plentiful. The location is spot-on, a short walk down the beach to Speightstown with a choice of bars and restaurants and the very cool Caboose, a converted fishing boat that serves great food and drinks during the day. We used the taxi service recommended by the complex a few evenings to take us to restaurants and the communication and service from them was excellent. Overall a fantastic holiday in this apartment and complex and we hope to return again sometime.

Wonderful apartment!

Beautiful ,well equipped and clean apartment .The view from the balcony is stunning ! Port St Charles is paradise .Karen the host could not have been more helpful ,nothing was too much trouble.We had an amazing stay and will be back .Highly recommend!!

Amazing vacation

Fot the past 10 year, I have made Port St Charles my home away from home. This apartment is very clean, quiet, fully furnished, comfortable and equipped with all the required and upgraded amenities. The staff members are very friendly. I highly recommend this unit.

Amazing.

Absolutely wonderful. Very well equipped apartment. Stunning views from the second floor over the marina, swimming pool and out to sea. Quick response from the owner if you have any questions. Would love to return, highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect!

This was our second time in this apartment. Even better than our last visit as Speightstown is opening up again properly post Covid. Particularly enjoyed eating and chilling at Caboose near the beach. The property is perfect for us as a couple: roomy, well equipped and what a view! Highly recommended.

Stunning apartment

We are just back from a 2 week stay in this apartment and everything was fantastic. There is plenty of space for 2 people and everything you could need. The decor is very island chic and the best part is the terrace with amazing views of the marina and sea beyond. Port St Charles has lovely facilities - we used the pool most days and the beach is beautiful with chairs and umbrellas provided. The grounds are full of gorgeous flowers tended by an army of friendly staff. The complex is safe, tranquil and private. Speightstown has several nice restaurants and Island Plates will deliver delicious food direct to the apartment. Karen was also very responsive to any queries. We will definitely be back!

Paradise Found

The property was simply perfect for us! I have been coming to Barbados for over 50 years now and have never found a better beach than this one! The property outside is so well maintained and the inside is decorated perfectly. The layout is exceptional with the kitchen window overlooking the lagoon and onward to the sea! The host is very accommodating and always available to answer any questions that I had about the island . Our stay couldn’t have gone any better!

Having stayed at Port St Charles many times, I was delighted that the apartment was a lovely as I expected. It is well equipped, in a beautiful location and is a great place to holiday. We had a pretty great trip overall. The place was beautiful and the scenery was excellent. The bed was a little small for two people to fit (we aren’t very big people to begin with) and we didn’t have the proper keys for the first two days. The security was very helpful and same with the concierge. We will definitely be back to Port St. Charles next year with our little one.
