Villa is well located but needs renovation
This Villa is well located to explore the east side of Menorca, but it is looking a bit tired in several areas. The owners have renovated the kitchen and bathrooms, but there are many areas were its obvious nobody has renovated in many years (lets keep in mind the rates being charged here. At the minimum you expect a renovated standard). The beds are specially uncomfortable (this really puzzles me. I am Spanish and have never understood why they have such cheap beds in Spain. It's like sleeping on a rock. Please invest just a small amount of money on nicer mattresses/beds. This will pay off as most international travelers do not like hard beds).
The pool itself is decent, and the side table/bbq/family area is suitable. The washing machine/dryer is actually outside which was a bit odd, but the dryer ended up being broken for our stay (we ended up drying our clothes the old fashioned way on the rack. This was fine as it was hot and dried quickly). They do have a handyman to solve issues that arise during your stay, and he was good (solved a few issues that came up quickly).
Communication with the management company was very poor. I came very close to cancelling our stay because I could never get a reply from them. We were travelling with an infant so we did need a small degree of certainty. I can excuse a few days delay for messages (important ones) due to the Pandemic, but not weeks. Yes, they were that slow.
All in all, my wife & I were not very satisfied with our stay. Just too many details went wrong, so we just can't recommend staying at this Villa without some serious upgrades/renovations. It's just not up to standard just yet.
