Stay for a golf trip

Property is awesome in every way that matters except cleanliness. The place has been lived in hard with permanent black marks on all of the floors, closets full of dirt, broken door frames/chairs etc. The price was insane for the quality of the place. In an alternate world where this unit was properly cared for it would be worth the price paid.

Family Get together

We had family members who live in different households and somewhat apart from each other. Each floor being essentially a separate unit was perfect for sleeping and morning privacy but allowed "visiting" each other's living rooms, movies for the kids upstairs, OGs talking downstairs, etc. Perfect.

Large house, weird smell

The downstairs floor smelled like cats. I am not sure if pets are allowed but the lingering odor made no one want to stay on the bottom floor. The rest of the house was great: spacious living room and kitchens, adequate bedrooms and bathrooms, great location to the beach, ample parking. However it is listed a parking spot out front of the house, however that is street parking and not dedicated to this house so someone else was parked there the entire time. If you are counting on that extra space out front, don’t. You do need to Uber to restaurants and Seacrets, but it was a short ride. The bathrooms had some left over hair in the shower which was kind of icky. Overall, large house that accommodates a large group. Recommend bringing your own sheets towels and pillows and linens.

Friendcation w/ Kids

We stayed here in August for a long weekend with 13 adults and 9 kids under 3. Very spacious and clean property just a quick walk to the beach. We loaded all the kids and gear in wagons and spent every day at the beach. Having multiple kitchens and porches made it easy to hang out at the house and give kids quiet time for naps and sleep. Linen was provided and we just had to bring our own beach gear and towels. Easy drive to local Food Lion for groceries. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby and on boardwalk. We easily fit all 7 cars in the available parking spaces (driveway and in the back). Outdoor shower was a plus! Dawn was quick to respond and helped provide recommendations if you asked. Would highly recommend for large groups/families.

Do not recommend

Unfortunately I do not recommend anyone to stay here. I had reached out to ask a couple of questions and confirm the price of the rental property for a group of my friends. Everything was confirmed as stated in the description. I went ahead and told the manager of the property that I was very interested and planned on booking it that week. A few days go by and I go to book it and the total price went up by a very large amount. When I messaged them to ask them why it went up they said “prices vary regularly and are not set”. Also when I got to the property no beds were made; they told you to make the bed yourselves. They also were limited with trash bags and paper towels and had minimal to no towels to use for free. I wish I could say I had a better experience.

PERFECT Reunion Home

Dawn's home in OC was the perfect spot for a reunion for a large group of friends. Firstly, the house itself was great - tons of bedrooms, lots of beds, lots of space, ample bathrooms, and having 3 kitchens to spread out across was very helpful. The 3 separate balconies were also fabulous. The location can not be beat - half a block to the boardwalk/beach with tons of bars and restaurants at your fingertips....and the public bus that gets you to Seacrets picks up directly across from the house! Would absolutely recommend to large groups of friends.

OC beach house

The location and layout of the house are excellent for our large group of 17. It is close to the beach and the house is set up so everyone has their space. It also is decorated in cute beach themes. however for the cost to rent the property we expected zero maintenance issues, instead there several issues that should have been a quick fix but appear to have been put on the back burner which was quite disappointing.

Great location and house

We were a large group of friends that stayed here for 3 nights. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us. The location was fantastic - just a couple of mins walk to the beach. Dawn was great and very quick in responding. We really enjoyed our stay.

Spacious and Close to the Beach

This was my second year in a row staying here with my large group and it is such a great fit for us. It is one short block from the boardwalk and beach which was nice for taking kids' beach stuff. The multiple kitchens came in handy too when cooking for a lot of people. We also were the first people to use the new grill charcoals grill that was in the back. There could be some small furniture upgrades and I do wish the outside shower worked to help keep sand outside of the property, but for the location and size I would not hesitate to book for a third year!
