WoodSongキャビンは、スペリオル湖の端とカスケードリバー州立公園のオープンフォレストの端の両方にあります。 2016年に完全に再建されたこの職人の細工されたキャビンは、細部にまで注意を払うことで費用をspareしみません。 全体的なデザインから手で鍛えられた鉄の作品に至るまで、すべての平方インチに骨の折れる注意が払われました。 その結果は、単なる住居というよりも、細工された木の彫刻に似たものになります。

スペリオル湖の険しい海岸線に沿って位置し、カスケードビーチロードの一番端にあるWoodSongは、ルッセンとグランドマレーのほぼ正確な位置にあり、どちらの方向にも10分のドライブが可能です。 花崗岩に面したwoodの燃える暖炉の周りに広々としたメインルームがあり、フレンチドアが湖に直接開いています。 2つのベッドルームにはそれぞれ、深めの浴槽を備えたスパ専用のバスタブがあります。 メインルームにデラックスなソファーベッドを使用すると、このキャビンは快適に収容できます6。

外では、魅力が全力で... WoodSongパティオは、スペリオル湖から目と鼻の先にあるだけでなく、湖に面したポーチを備えています。 WoodSong Fish Houseでコーヒー、ワイン、友人と過ごす時間は、元々の歴史的なNorth Shore Fish House（その昔からまだ残っている数少ないものの1つ）を再利用したもので、North Shoreエクスタシーとほぼ同じです！

Repeat stay

This cabin ticks all the boxes for us to spend a week enjoying all the North Shore has to offer. The boat house is such a treat to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and the cabin is clean with comfortable beds and a cozy sitting area with a fireplace.

Beautiful sunrise views over the water

Great cabin for a trip with a mixed itinerary of getting outside during the day and nesting in at night. You can see the majority of the shoreline within an hour in either direction. Went upshore to Grand Portage and downshore to Silver Bay and caught lots of great hikes along the way. Then returned at night to cook and grill some amazing dinners in a perfectly appointed kitchen. Bonus to have a great Weber grill right there, too.

Gorgeous!!!

This cabin is simply lovely. It has been recently meticulously remodeled. The location is fantastic - super close to cascade river state park. And the fishhouse / porch by the lake - amazing! I can’t wait to go back.

Awesome Getaway

Perfect space for our family and had all we needed. Location was great for a quick hike in the state park, but the best part was spending hours exploring rocks on the shore. The fish house was one of our favorite spots and it was so relaxing to listen to the waves wash on shore. It was hard to leave!

Really enjoyed our time - great cabin, good communication, beautiful views of Lake Superior, close to Grand Marais. Really loved the features of the house - only thing I'd change is the chairs around the dining room table :)!

We Didn’t Want to Leave!

This property is second to none! I call it “Lux Rustic!” It definitely has that Up North Cabin vibe, but with a luxury twist. Very cozy, clean and comfortable.My husband and I stayed for our 40th anniversary celebration and it did not disappoint. Highlights were connecting with nature and each other . During our 4-night stay we didn’t see another human unless we left the property. The Lake Superior shoreline was ours to enjoy; we felt like the only people on the planet. We spent a lot of time in the fish house and exploring the shoreline. The water is so majestic and healing. We absolutely did not want to leave.As far as the cabin goes, it had every amenity imaginable. Plenty of glassware, cookware, fridge and freezer space for the two of us. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace each evening and I soaked and relaxed every night in the huge bathtub.The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was set up very efficiently and feels roomy.We had a couple of questions and the host responded right away with tips and offers to assist.It was incredible and we plan on returning as soon as we can.

North Shore Retreat

Beautiful place on the North Shore, right on the water. Very quiet and peaceful! Great location between Grand Marais and Lutsen, near great hiking. Loved the deep tub and beautiful freshly picked lupines. Cozy fireplace and living room! Well cared for!

Absolute tranquility

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and it was just what we needed. Only two places we go to every year seems like home away from home. One is the Island Inn Sanibel Island and the other is Woodsong in Lutsen. This will be a yearly vacation for us now. We were even lucky enough to get a Northern Lights show on Friday night. Every thing about the cabin is perfection and beautifully maintained and appointed. You absolutely can not beat the location only 20 minutes from Grand Marais and little locations to eat all around.

North Shore luxury

Beautifully kept and equipt home on the North Shore. Great kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and enjoyable fireplace in living area. Not the most comfortable dining chairs but that is the only minor quibble.

With both of us native to Kansas, we made our first foray to the Northwoods in 1994, shortly after being newly married. Little did we know that that initial five-night paddling trip, launched from the end of the Gunflint Trail outside of Grand Marais, would lead to a lifetime of pursuing the Northwoods and everything it represents. We now own and operate a Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in the Flint Hills of Kansas, and we love the gentle beauty of the prairie — a sublime beauty that soaks slowly into your soul rather than a dramatic beauty that hits you upside the head.

We find the Northwoods to be similar in that regard. Whether the quiet lapping of waves against a rock shore, the distant haunting call of a loon, the silent rise of a full moon over Lake Superior, or the crackle of a wood fire on a frigid snowy night, we find the essence of the Northwoods invigorates our hearts and spirits like nowhere else. We can't think of anything more fulfilling than sharing our little piece of the North with guests in the hope that it will be as life-giving to them as it is to us. Welcome to WoodSong!

WoodSong is uniquely perched on the edge of one of the most stunning stretches of beach anywhere along the North Shore — with Lake Superior's waves literally lapping at its edge! It has captured our imaginations since the first time we stumbled upon it — and still does today!

More crafted wood sculpture than mere dwelling, from the overall design to the hand-forged ironwork, WoodSong was spared no expense in its attention to detail. In addition to this property, we have three other properties, Cedarwood Hollow (Vrbo #948867), Painted Rock (Vrbo #761264), and SweetWater Cottage (Vrbo #1770536) located nearby and can be combined together to allow multiple families or friend groups to stay close in close proximity.
