There is a limit to the maximum occupancy and it is limited to 14. Cars are limited to the number that can fit in the garage and driveway which is 6
Trash on Tuesdays and should be put out in the morning and not the night before as the bears will destroy the cans. No street parking during snow.
There is a County wide strict no tolerance noise policy. You could be fined or even evicted by the Sherriffs Department during quiet time 9PM - 8AM

Great getaway

We had a group of 4 families and really wanted a house so we could all stay together. This house fit the bill as it was roomy enough so no one felts cramped and the indoor pool was great for everyone to enjoy. Really close to Sierra where we skied and Raleys for groceries. Our only wish was more restaurants that delivered in the area the property manager, Jeff was great. We thought we were coming in about an hour earlier than planned and Jeff was there waiting to walk us thru the house. We appreciated his quick response for anything we texted and overall really organized. We plan to stay again but in the summer time to avoid the weather issues.

Overall good stay but jacuzzi water was dirty and smelly

My family and I love this house. This is our third time staying there. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi water was dirty and really smelly this time around. We have never had any issues with the house.

Beautiful home in a picturesque setting among the trees

Great time celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with family. Lots of space and the grandchildren loved swimming in the pool. Nestled in the woods, but close enough for dining and shopping. Lots of trails for walking.

Great place for a group!

Stayed here with a large group of friends for a ski trip, house is great and all the amenities are as described and functioning as intended. A relatively short drive to South Lake Tahoe and Kirkwood, there are also a few restaurants and a grocery store just up the road. The only thing of note is that there wasn’t any soap/shampoo in the showers, so grab some on the way in. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Girls Weekend

We had an incredible stay in South Lake Tahoe for a girls weekend. The house was perfect for our needs as a bigger group including the parking in the garage options. The property managers Josh and Summer were fantastic! They were so communicative, helped us get checked in a little early and gave us a great welcome. Summer in particular was so helpful with the details about the house and neighborhood to ensure a great experience. They were awesome! We wished there was a bit more outdoor space for hanging out, but the inside was so perfect and we spent our days on the lake anyway so we ended up not minding much. Would definitely recommend this property for a big group!

Memorable Guys Weekend

It was awesome! 61" of snow during the weekend and we enjoyed every moment. Since some of our snow activities were cancelled due to weather we played football in the snow and enjoyed the home's amenities including the basketball goal at the indoor pool and the whirlpool after outdoor activities. The home was perfect for family/friends getaway!!

Best time of our lives

This is the first time we have ever stayed at Tahoe and it snowed. We have come before but the snow was there from before. We had a great time and the place we stayed at had everything. We also enjoyed the indoor heated pool and spa. We had a great time. We would definitely come again.

Family gathering

Everything was great, clean, stocked with full essentials only downside was about pool/jacuzzi hours. No pool/jacuzzi after 9pm which was not noted on website at all. Which it made us feel like we were staying in hotel rather than private house.

Labor Day Golf Weekend

Property was great for 12 over 40 Dad's in South Shore for a round of golf and a Fantasy Football draft. Rained on golf, spent more time on property than planned. House has great ammenties. Lock your doors and keep ZERO food in vehicles as we did have a bear rummage thru a truck.

Nice Property

Overall was OK. Hot Tub was dirty.. 2 of the children got rashes..house could have used a deeper cleaning.. food, lots of dust under tables and in couch. Once we wipe fed it all down.. we were good.

Friendsgiving Trip

A friend of the owners stopped by within about an hour of us arriving just to check in and say hi and give us tips about the property!!! She was so friendly and kind. The property itself is beautiful! No fenced backyard, we brought a dog but the national forest is across the street, so could take him for a walk there or around the neighborhood! Everything was amazing, a fully stocked kitchen, we brought some of our own baking pans- and coffee maker was great! Everything was really clean, sauna, hot tub and pool was amazing! Very close to everything - super market a 5 minute drive. We had Friendsgiving here and were entertained the entire time. Will definitely stay here again!

Girls trip

We love the location, easy to get to the grocery store and other areas of interest such as golf courses, casinos, and good restaurants. The house was clean with the exception of the hot tub that needed to be serviced. Property manager said that it was to have been done the day we arrived, but that did not happen. They did come out and clean it while we were staying there. My primary complaint is that the dishwasher leaked and could not be used. We were told this when we checked in. I think this is something that could have been repaired prior to our visit. Also, only one burner of the stove worked. They did come out to check it out and to light the pilot light to the fireplace. They appeared to know that the stove also needs to be replaced. If you’re planning a large group where you want to stay in and cook, this may not be the place for you. The temperature of the house varied greatly. The upstairs bedrooms are warm while the basement bedrooms are freezing. We were there at the change of season so this may not be the case in the winter months. It was an average house for this price point.

False advertising

Really hate complaining, but I wish we had known the following prior to arrival. First we were told there would be a brand new keurig coffee maker waiting for us. There was no keurig. All we brought were pods. We were looking forward to putting on some sports games on the tv in the pool area, but there was no tv. Just wires hanging out of the wall. There is a steam shower in the pool area, but it produced no steam at all. Also, the dehumidifier in the pool area was not working. Two of the ceiling fans in the main room didn’t work. We noticed the cover for the air filter was dirty so we opened it up to find the most disgusting black air filter I have ever seen! Scary to think we were breathing air in the house from that filter. Several of the windows throughout the house are missing blinds. Affected our privacy at night We complained via email to the owners and also notified VRBO that we were not happy with the condition of the property. All VRBO would do is move us to another property, but no other property had an indoor pool. We had booked this property 18 months ago mainly for the pool so we declined packing up and moving. The owner must’ve seen my email because the next morning a repairman showed up to look at the dehumidifier, but was unable to fix it. The repairman changed the air filter and said he also had never seen a filter so disgusting. The keurig machine was dropped off finally, but we didn’t appreciate having all this traffic coming in and out of the house while we were trying to relax. All of these maintenance issues could be fixed if they would just put the property out of order for a couple of weeks. Would prevent guests like myself complaining about these issues. Overall we were really looking forward to staying at the property as presented online. The property is run down and in desperate need of maintenance. The pictures and description of the property on VRBO do not represent how the property is in real time. If we had known about these issues before arriving we would have cancelled our reservation and figured something else out. Based on some of the other reviews of this property, some of these issues are not new and some are over a year old. I waited two weeks after departing to hear from the owner, but never have. Some sort of compensation was definitely warranted, especially for how expensive the property is. Neither the service or the condition were acceptable. We will never return.
