Experience the unique Cretan vibe of living in a traditional house in the heart of the old town of Rethymno. Antonia’s apartments are located in a quiet 16th-century residential complex, where tradition meets luxury & vintage design characteristics, just a few meters away from the old Venetian Harbour in one of the many picturesque alleys. It offers elegantly decorated units with views of the surrounding Venetian buildings.
The Red studio apartment is a 40 sq.m ensuite apartment with a private kitchenette and a small sitting area. It is located on the first floor with 2 double beds,1 two-seat sofa, and 1 baby cot.
The kitchenette includes a fridge and a microwave. The apartment comes with a 32-inch TV, ironing facilities, a wardrobe, and a seating area with a sofa. There is an ensuite bathroom with a bidet and a hairdryer, along with on the house amenities.
Shared facilities include the dining area on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, iron press, washer, espresso, and filter coffee maker. A communal roof garden with two seating and dining areas offering a spectacular view of the Venetian surrounding, ideal for dining or enjoying a romantic sunset. The whole space is filled with bespoke furniture that gives an artistic ethos to the house.

Chambre très propre et confortable. Bonne literie: Un grand lit et 2 petits en mezzanine. C’est suffisamment grand pour 4 personnes. Tout était conforme à la description.Petit soucis dans la salle de bain avec la chasse d’eau qui se bloquait régulièrement et aussi avec la lampe qui avait un faux contact, mais nous n’avons pas contacté la propriétaire car nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits.Par contre grosse galère pour trouver une place de parking ! Nous sommes arrivés un samedi soir et j’ai tourné 1h: le parking du port était complet ainsi que 2 autres. J’ai fini par trouver une place au parking de la vieille ville pour 20 par jour.

Great location, spacious room, adequate kitchen, parking usually quite far if you don’t want to pay at the port, bedding good but poor quality pillows and towels, had an issue where we had no hot water for an evening and the following morning which was very inconvenient but the host had it repaired. Bathroom was tiny with a low ceiling, had a handheld shower and a wooden slide lock which was difficult to slide and would get stuck. Rooftop deck had a few umbrellas but was not as shown in the photos. It’s on a small alleyway so no views but right in the old town with countless great restaurants close by.

Zimmer mitten in der Altstadt

Die Lage ist super, mitten in der Altstadt und trotzdem ruhig! Wir konnten aus dem Inserat nicht herauslesen, dass man nur ein Zimmer mit Bad mietet und man Küche und Terrasse mit anderen UrlauberInnen teilt. Das war an sich nicht tragisch aber wir hätten es nicht gebucht, wenn wir das vorher gewusst hätten und die Vermietungsagentur kam uns leider diesbezüglich nicht entgegen.

Wir waren 3 Mädels, für 10 Tage in Antonias House. Es hat alles einwandfrei geklappt und wir würden immer wieder gerne kommen. Die Terrasse ist der Hammer, die Zimmer wurden regelmäßig gesäubert und die Kommunikation mit Antonia war jedes Mal gegeben, wenn etwas war bzw sein sollte! Alles perfekt.
