The house is very conveniently situated in a fairly calm section of the Old Town. Everything you need is in walking distance. The furnishings are simple and functional, and the roof terrace has a nice view of the harbor (in the distance over the roofs all around). A great place to relax when it's not too hot out. The host, Katja, is very accessible and helpful. We would not hesitate to return. There are, however, a few small inconveniences to be aware of:- the stairways are very steep and narrow, so that the house is not suitable for those with even minor mobility problems, and may also be difficult for those with small children or cumbersome luggage. - although the neighborhood is generally quiet at night, there is sometimes some noise in the street from late-night revellers, or, depending on the direction of the wind, from the music at the waterfront restaurants and bars a few streets away. During our stay, however, this was never more than a very minor disturbance that ended soon after midnight.- the parasol on the roof-terrace - an absolute necessity under the sun - is very unstable and tends to topple over when there is even a small current of air. It should be easy for this to be fixed, however.
