No Confidence Uncomfortable Stay left!

Vacasa advertises “BookConfidently Stay Comfortably” nothing could be further from the truth. We spent over $1500 to stay at the Tidewater in Panama City Beach and the room was so filthy we left immediately. Management made me hear the sound of one hand clapping! Misty the manager was no help, no offer of a different room and she admitted she had not seen this condo. Their help and complaint department called us at our different hotel at 2 am? I give good service in my job as a firefighter paramedic and I know what good service is and This was Not.

Weekend Getaway

Location was fantastic! Disappointed with condo, no extra bedding, only sheets on beds, walls and carpeting were very dirty, and overall outdated. May consider staying again. The door is a little flimsy, didn’t feel safe. Had to slam to make sure it shut. Could definitely use some TLC, since it’s a nice place. ~The O’Brien’s

Pathetic

The only good thing I can say about this unit is that the view was amazing. The condo was spacious but other than that the place was disgusting. Our sheets were soured and smelled awful. The entire condo smelled and it was 80 degrees in there when we came in. The so call couch they have in there is actually a love seat and it is so worn out I wouldn’t give it away to anyone for free. It’s also filthy. There is no other seating and no where for anyone to stretch out and relax unless you lay on the nasty, stained carpet. There are minimal amenities provided. There are plenty of towels for everyone but very few dishes and very little soap. I have stayed in much nicer places for a lot less than what I had to pay to stay in this unit. The Tidewater resort is very nice itself, but this unit is horrible. We will not rent this unit again and not certain that we’ll come back to Tidewater if all the units are like this. I’m completely disgusted and so frustrated that o spent so much money for this unit and it’s awful.

This place was excellent. It is ocean front and very safe. The staff was very friendly and excited to help or answer any question you have. I plan on booking it next year and stay even longer.

Christmas at Tidewater

Loved our stay. From start to end. Parking is adjacent to Tidewater and carts available. The beach is right outside Tidewater and the customer service was superb. The condo was very comfortable and clean. Home away from home.

Vacation 2021

I normally don’t comment negatively but Condo was ok. Sleeper sofa was horrible woke up with sore back from coils and was very dirty. Patio would help if it had more seating. Fridge not cooling well. However everything else was clean. ELEVATOR situation horrible, waiting time to get to ground floor would take from 15-20 minutes. The day of check out took almost an hour. Don’t think will stay here again.

Not the best

The furniture was not clean, the king bed mattresses were very hard and the iron needs to be replaced. The iron ruined my jean shorts due to the bottom being brunt. This condo really needs to updated.

Great overall

Great stay overall, other than the elevators are so so slow. It takes about 30-60 minutes to get an elevator. We took the stairs a lot of times which was not fun since we were in the 12th floor. Property was clean and a great atmosphere. If you don’t mind waiting for the elevators it’s perfect!

Great place to get away

What a great location!! Loved the chairs and umbrellas right on the beach. We read reviews about the slow elevators but did not experience this. The condo was clean and spacious. Other than a musty odor, probably the carpet, it was very nice. The clock in the kitchen needed a battery and it would have been nice to have coffee filers. We will definitely visit the area again.

Don’t stay here!

Spring Break 2021

The condo had a pest problem! We had roaches the entires stay! Sofa pull out mattress also had blood stains on it! Talked to reps at front desk sent man to spray first day but only got worse! Called the next morning to inform of more roaches and they said they would send someone to spray the condo after we left! No offer to get additional spray or anything! No type of partial refund for dealing with roaches during our stay! Was not happy with this! Had stayed at Tidewater once before but will not come back! Very disappointed!

Great view Needs Updating

The pictures from the listing showed a lounge chair on the patio which was not there when we arrived. So we were pretty disappointed about that. There were bugs in the fridge and kitchen and the bathroom. The room was relatively clean but definitely needs updating. The beds were very uncomfortable. The view is amazing but the elevators are ridiculously slow. We probably will not be back or recommend this unit.

Short Getaway

Once you enter the condo you know you have arrived to your vacation, it was a beautiful view it was clean, had everything we needed this was the first time we did not run out of trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels we had more than enough face cloths and towels although we had our own supplies we didn't have to use them. Overall we had a great stay when I call front desk they answered Then followed up to make sure that everything was okay I would definitely book with Vacasa again 1204 was perfect.

Dreamy!

The booking/check-in/check-out process was super quick and easy. All the staff members we encountered were kind and courteous. The room was cute, cozy, and convenient. We were within walking distance of Pier Park, as well as plenty of great restaurants. The view from the balcony is indescribable. We loved watching the sunset and listening to the waves crash against the shore. Nothing obstructs the view of the ocean from the balcony. Beach access is just an elevator trip and a few steps away. This will be my go-to spot for all future PCB trips.
