6 week reprieve from winter.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. House and pool were great. Son and daughter in law visited and had plenty of space. Yard was great for the dog. Mary and Mickey were great hosts. Nothing but good things to say.

Nice place

Family flew in for a wedding. We all stayed in one house some came and went. Grandkids came for the day they enjoyed the pool close to everything Punta Gorda has to offer would rent it again.

Perfect property to relax.

Super home in Punta Gorda that is in a quiet neighborhood yet convenient to local attractions. House is meticulously maintained and appointed with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Really nice lanai and pool. Check in / Check out process was super easy and owner is available for any questions or concerns that may arise. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Comfortable home

Very comfortable and well appointed home. We had plenty of room. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Beds are comfortable and all amenities needed were there. Many thoughtful extras such as pool floats and bikes.

AMAZING!!

5 stars for sure. Came down to Florida to help turn the power back on. Just happened to be able to book this VRBO spot for the week for me and a couple of other guys I work with . It made our stay soooo much better. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The place was very clean and very nice inside. If I am ever in Punta Gorda again I will definitely be staying here. What a great experience.

Perfect Stay

We visited friends in the area for the week and the house was just right. Everything was as described, the house was clean and Mary was very helpful. It was just me and wife but this would be a great spot for a family as well.

There’s a reason for all the 5 star reviews! This place is amazing!!

If you’re wanting a clean quiet place in Punta Gorda look no further! We stayed here for 3 weeks while waiting for our house to close. We’re a family of five with our dogs. It was hands down the best experience. We couldn’t have picked a better place!

Very nice quiet neighborhood.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful swimming pool, convenient to everything, owner was great to communicate with. House was pretty much stocked with all utensils, would definitely consider staying here again.

Punts Gorda trip

We had a great trip. The property was just as listed. Everything was clean and just as I had hoped it would be. The pool and patio area was great! Had everything you could want. And if you need to take a break inside, there plenty of places to sit and relax. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are big and very clean. This is a nice property. Close to restaurants, shopping and a short drive to beaches.

Another great stay in PGI

The property was as listed and met all of our expectations. The house was very clean and we appreciated having all kinds of cleaners on hand that we could use when needed. The house is very comfortable and well laid out to meet your needs. We were on the lanai every day and really appreciated the pool to cool down after sitting in the sun. The location was perfect for our trip and was close to everything that you would need. I would highly recommend this property.

A great vacation house

A great place to stay. We all enjoyed playing in the pool (the house even had a life jacket our 6 year old wore in the pool), relaxing by the pool, and being able to retreat inside (when the temps got hot outside) to the air-conditioned house. The kids found a small foosball table and another football & golf game to play which they enjoyed. Communication with Mary was awesome, she was very responsive and helpful. We found some dishes that the previous renter didn't clean very well, but threw them in the dishwasher and that was resolved. And when we ran out of dishwasher pods, Mary was quick to respond. The house was well stocked, we had an early "Easter dinner" with my wife's Grandmother, and the house had all the dishes and spices and such that were needed. This rental is operated a little differently than a lot of others and that allows you to save money. You can clean the house (if you so desire), and you pay for electricity above normal usage. We chose to clean most things (left the showers and floors for the cleaning crew) and even with the pool temp up we paid WAY less than we have paid for "cleaning fees" with other rentals. We very much enjoyed the house, and I want to reiterate that Mary was great, very responsive and helpful, she was amazing to work with.

Beautiful home

The house was very very clean. Mary was amazing. Not a lot to do in Punta Gorda but with an amazing pool, you don't really need to get out of the house.

Great place with everything we needed

This house was great! The kitchen/dining/living area is open with lots of seating. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well organized. The bedrooms had large closets with tons on hangers and the beds were comfy. Given the heat, we very much enjoyed floating in the pool and relaxing on the lanai. It was nice to be able to park in the garage as well. Mary even sent us weather updates when tropical storm Elsa was headed to Punta Gorda. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect home base

Mary’s house was even better than the pictures. We did some cooking and very much appreciated the attention given to the kitchen set up. Whatever I needed, I knew it was just a matter of finding it in one of the cabinets. While the supermarket is very close, it’s the little things (like a spice rack) that make all the difference. 4 adults and 1 child shared the space for 5 days when we all couldn’t fit at my dad’s house. I would def recommend and stay again.

Absolutely perfect

We couldn't have asked for a better rental. The house was extreamly clean and had more than we needed. My kids had such a great time swimming and looking for bunnies, which we saw everyday out back. The location was perfect, everything we needed was minutes away. We look forward to staying here again.

We were looking for a Florida waterfront community that had all the necessary conveniences but offered a break from the hustle and bustle. Punta Gorda seemed to offer just the right combination: restaurants / businesses / recreation you can walk/bike to, with even more options available within a 5-minute drive. Go a bit father to find malls and every store/restaurant you could want.

On a trip to Punta Gorda to shop for real estate, we happened to stay at this property. We loved the layout and all the thought that went into its design. While viewing other homes, this property became our standard of comparison. Then we learned this home was for sale. While we had planned on buying something on the water, we ultimately chose this home because of the greater privacy and serenity it offered -- for a TRULY peaceful & relaxing respite, with easy access to restaurants and other activities, when desired.
