The house is on the top floor of a historic building from the late 1500s, built on a pre-existing medieval tower by Emilio Luci, one of the officials of the Medici family and the Grand Duche of Tuscany.

The entrance to the apartment is accessible by climbing 51 steps from the street level.

The parking (free) is located under the city walls and about 250 meters from the building. When registering with the owners, access to the historic center is authorized by car to facilitate the unloading of luggage.
