Borgo la Chiusa has 3 independent units: 2 semi-detached houses (Porcilaia and Legnaia) and 1 independent villa (Fienile):

FIENILE (sleeps 10) this villa

Fienile, whose name means hay barn, is the newest unit at Borgo La Chiusa, it was totally restored in 2014, using top quality materials.
It develops over two floors, a surface of more than 200 square meters, private gated garden with views, sunshine and shade.
Accessed through a private gate, the barn boasts a grand entrance with a 3 meter arch and an elegant staircase.

Below sits a bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a wonderful open space kitchen/living/reading/dining room of 70 sq meters leading straight in to the garden.
A marvelous stone fireplace sits at the center of the living room.

On the first floor sit 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The marvelous original brick structure offers magnificent lighting and views over the rolling countryside.

The house is fully fitted and has floor heating/cooling system and air conditioning units in all the bedrooms.

P.S.: heating is charged separately on consumption.

As a group we will spend a week together each year. Without a doubt this was the most amazing place we have stayed. The setting of the villa was just amazing. Every room was perfect, the garden and pool, perfect. I also think it helps that Tuscany is just the most picturesque place, every town is a dream. If you want to see Tuscany and you're happy to hire a car (we used taxi's a lot but a car is key) then do not look beyond this fantastic home and beautiful setting. Thank you.

This villa was beautiful! Very clean and well-equipped for anything we would need in the kitchen. We had friends/family coming at different times during our three week stay and Francesca was so helpful in getting them checked in at different times. She also arranged for private chef meals with herself and Vanna on three separate occasions and also arranged for a decorated anniversary cake twice for two different couples! The four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms provided very comfortable, private accommodations for all our guests. Francesca went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, recommended restaurants and even made reservations for us. We especially enjoyed Ristorante Dal Cateni. What a perfect vacation - great location for day trips all around Tuscany.

We had an awesome time! The house is simply beautiful with ample room for many guests. It was very clean, bright and had great view of the countryside. For a birthday, we had Francesca arrange a chef to come in and all was outstanding. I highly recommend staying at the house and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay and location

We had a wonderful time visiting Siena and other towns within a one hour drive.The service from Simone and Francesca was outstanding. The pool was great and helped entertain our 7 year old grandson. Would definitely stay again!!!

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting.. the house had all we could wish for. A well equipped kitchen, outside eating and relaxing space with wonderful views. Beds very comfortable. Owner very responsive with communication. Nothing too much trouble. Great pool area and well managed gardens.

Words can’t describe!

We stayed here after a 7 day cruise through Italy and Croatia and it was the perfect relaxation spot. Clean, comfy, fully functioning air conditioning, BEAUTIFUL property. Francesca and Vanna cooked us one of the best meals we had the whole trip. The pool is amazing, the outdoor patio was fantastic. Great communication, everything was perfectly fine. Would 100/10 recommend to anyone visiting Tuscany, especially with a larger group.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa

We had the most beautiful stay, check in was very easy and communication was wonderful. We also booked Elisa who is a private chef that Simone recommended and she was so wonderful, food and hospitality was amazing and highly recommended. Villa is an easy drive to Siena and also a local supermarket. Highly recommended, the views and villa are just spectacular.

If you want to explore Tuscany, Siena, and Florence, this is definitely a wonderful spot. The home itself was immaculate, well-appointed, and well thought out. We enjoyed Francesca's suggestions for a private chef and many other things. We will definitely be back!!!!

Superb Tuscan villa

Great location. Good facilities. And 5 days of dry and warm weather made for a great break. Children in the pool everyday; adults needed it to be a couple of degrees warmer. But it was only May!
