Excellent location but misrepresentations, decoration tired
Looked clean til we looked in the icebox compartment of the fridge - couldn’t shut door, completely iced up, half eaten ice lolly! Kitchen floor wrecked by water damage. Cactus outside bedroom door caked in dust. Construction work starts at 8.15 weekdays 2 doors away, very noisy. Images and wording deceptive - the Chesterfield type sofa gone and replaced with uncomfortable and inferior conservatory type one. Think it said sofa bed somewhere? No such thing. Eye catching cactus gone. White shelving under tv, small trailing cactus, plant in bathroom, iron, ironing board - all gone. No lovely red towels, or decorative twigs on the bed: just dressing for the images. No smoke detectors either in the flat or up the communal stairs, no washing machine or drier inside the flat as it says there are, you have to walk up to the fifth floor and use the communal facilities. Terrace disappointing - very small tables, nothing to provide shade. Lights needed in flat at all times and 3 windows opposite look straight in. People walking by also see you as the window is under 3 meters high up from the lane. Think it mentioned a safe somewhere - perhaps the empty first aid box with no key? Instructions on how to work the microwave would be good. Lack of hooks, the tiny self adhesive bathroom ones fall off with towels on them . Shower screen leaks onto bathroom floor. Strange window in bedroom with people the other side moving around late at night turning their lights on and off. 4 nights max fine in this place with a brilliant location.
