We stayed in MarSuites 4, The location could not be better, right in the heart of the old town, with the best shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance and a taxi rank opposite. The apartment is cleverly designed to utilise the long, narrow, limited space available, at one end, the large comfortable lounge/diner has plenty of light and a little balcony overlooking the avenue lined with plane trees and with views of the palace and cathedral. A small kitchen area has everything needed and the bathroom has a decent shower. The bedroom is at the other end of the space and again is more than adequate, very quiet at night.
The bonus of MarSuites 4 is the large roof terrace which receives full sun, is sheltered and very private.
Access from the lobby from the street is by either by four flights of steep staircases, or a tiny, slow, 2 person lift, (this is the only, minor drawback) but it does open straight into the apartment.
It was very clean and well maintained, well equipped, and the host Sandra could not be praised enough for the help she gave us and the trouble she took to make us welcome.
