Perfect Villa in beautiful Cala San Vicente

Had a great Summer week at the villa with family. The villa itself was really clean and very well stocked for us to clean up after ourselves (lots of bin bags, fresh sponges, mops, brushes etc) which was good to see. The pool and beach are so close and there are lots of amenities close by. Would come back again! The only thing to note is there are a lot of steps in the town, and the road to get to the house either has steps or a bumpy road so for people using buggies/strollers or wheelchairs this can be trickier than you may expect but is manageable - just slows things down!

Peaceful villa in a beautiful location

Ca’n Botana 3 is a beautiful, well equipped villa. It is placed in an elevated position with mountain views. The pool is a good size and is shared between the 12 villas on the complex. It could be busy at times however we also had the pool to ourselves regularly. We would recommend hiring a car to explore the island further and for shopping although you can get essentials in Cala. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout from booking to checking out

Un lugar para descansar

Seguramente de los mejores alojamientos que puedes encontrar en este lado de la isla. Un lugar tranquilo, en plena naturaleza, pero cerca de la playa, donde descansar, desconectar y cargar las pilas. La casa es una maravilla, con habitaciones amplias, un salón y una cocina enormes y una terraza exterior donde disfrutamos de las barbacoas. Totalmente equipada. Aunque forma parte de una urbanización de 12 villas, su diseño hace que la privacidad sea total. Fernando nos resolvió todas las dudas y preguntas que teníamos y nos dio consejos sobre la zona. Ojala tengamos la oportunidad de volver.

Erholung mit Einschränkung

Das Haus machte bei Ankunft nicht den saubersten Eindruck, so dass wir nochmals die Putzfrau bestellten. Auch ein Elektriker und ein Klempner mussten während unseres Urlaubs anrücken. Kurzzeitig war auch das ganze Haus ohne Wasser. Das Haus steht nicht alleine, wie die Anzeige vermieten lässt. Der Weg zum Haus ist voll von Schlaglöchern und staubig. Den Müll muss man etwa 5 Minuten zu den meist überfüllten Tonnen dort bringen. Dafür ist der kleine Strand sehr schön und sauber. Klares Wasser, nette Leute. Positiv: Der Vermieter war bei allen Problemen sofort telefonisch erreichbar und hat sich gleich gekümmert. Allerdings haben wir ihn nie persönlich kennengelernt.

Excellent!

We were a family of 4 with 2 small kids and grandparents and an aunt. The place was as described so 2 in each bedroom plus a bed in the hallway that we then moved into one of the twin rooms. The pool was brilliant for the kids and the location very convenient fir walking down to the beach. Fernando the owner was a pleasure to communicate with and extremely accommodating and helpful. All in all a perfect family holiday villa. Thank you! Camilla

Great place to stay

The villa was lovely and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay.

Clean but too shaded and damp

We were disappointed that the villa did not get more sunshine especially as the weather was unusually wet. We experienced thunderstorms and torrential rain from day one though we realise nothing can prevent nature's course. This fact probably caused the damp and musty atmosphere indoors and it was difficult to get our clothes dry after washing. This also prevented us using the communal pool for the first ten days. The mosquitoes were also a big problem to us and I wish we had been more prepared. The track leading up to the villas were badly rutted due to the torrential rain but workmen did arrive eventually to fill these in with sand which made it easier to drive up. May I suggest that you add an emergency phone number (for doctor, hospital etc.) to be kept at the villa too as the only contact number of the owner was the one I had brought with me.

Idéal pour un séjour en famille ! Repos et calme avec la plage a 2 mn à pied !

Un grand merci à Fernando pour son accueil, ses conseils et ses réponses rapides à toutes nos questions ! La villa est idéalement située à 2 mn à pied de la plage et surplombe la piscine. Le parc de Can Botana est magnifique et au calme. La maison est très confortable (très bonne literie) et très bien équipée (cuisine, machines…) et possède 2 terrasses sous auvent. Suffisamment d'espace pour 7. Les calas à proximité sont très belles avec la possibilité de faire du canoé, pédalo, paddle... Petits commerces, bar et restaurants à pied. Toute la famille a passé un excellent séjour et espère revenir !

Nettes Appartement

Nette Doopelhaushälfte mit landestypischer Einrichtung in guter Lage in Cala Sant Vincenc. Zur Cala Molins sind es nur ein paar Minuten bergab. Toller Blick in die Berge und guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Wenig Sonne, was im Hochsommer sicher vorteilhaft ist. Netter, hilfsbereiter Kontakt zum Vermieter!

Kleine Villa zum Wohlfühlen

Angenehmes Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen in schöner Anlage. Die Anlage besteht aus 12 Häusern mit großem Gemeinschaftpool in der Mitte, am Osthang gelegen und sehr grün durch viel Bepflanzung. Das Haus liegt schattig. Am Pool hat man ab mittags Sonne (im Sommer wahrscheinlich schon eher). Das Haus ist wohnlich eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung eher einfach, aber alles vorhanden, was mensch so braucht. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter läuft auf englisch und verlief sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Der Ort Cala San Vicente ist von von der Bausubstanz nicht gerade eine Augenweide, aber die eher kleine Bucht ist sehr schön und die Bar Mallorca mit Blick auf die Bucht ist ein echter "place to be". Landschaftlich ist die Gegend sehr reizvoll. Wanderungen direkt ab Haustür sind möglich und vom Haus zur Bucht ist es auch wirklich nur ein Katzensprung. Wir haben eine schöne Woche im Oktober dort verbracht.

Beautiful, peaceful and everything we hoped it would be

The house was nicely decorated in a traditional and tasteful style whilst having everything needed for a pleasant stay. We loved the pine woods and the setting above the town with the short walk down the steps to the friendly bars and restaurants that we love so much. The swimming pool, though communal, never felt crowded. We hope to come back soon.

Perfect stay; perfect location

Great communication with the host, Fernando. This villa is ideally situated within 2 minutes walking of the beach - my favourite in Majorca - and offers a large living space with the pool just a few steps away. I would certainly recommend this villa and look forward to staying again.

a wonderful place to stay

Your house is really a nice place to stay in Mallorca for a family holiday. The house is inside nice furnished, the painting are very nice, we loved that. The beach nearby is wonderful to swim and Pollenca is the nice to visit or to go on the market on Sundays. If we would go to Mallorca it would be once again there....

Very comfortable villa in a tranquil setting

Very comfortable and tranquil villa, as detailed in the owner’s description, with large terraces both front and back offering cool shade during the heat of the day. All facilities as described, including a safe for valuables (though to note the satellite tv only receives German-speaking channels). The site is very peaceful, without any music playing pool-side or from the other villas. The pool itself is lovely, clean and well-maintained, with plenty of chairs surrounding (in any case there were normally only a couple of other families using the pool area at any one time). The setting is on a small hill-side, with plentiful pine trees again offering shade. (There are steps up to the complex, not a problem for us but to note for anyone with restricted mobility). Cala San Vincente is a small resort, with two very nice sand beaches which lower gradually into the sea. Swimming in the clear, warm-ish sea is very enjoyable, the many fish keeping the children amused (it’s a good idea to bring a mask and snorkel or at least swimming goggles). There are a couple of small supermarkets which are quite pricey, and so we generally took the bus or walked to Puerto Pollensa where there’s an Eroski; by car there’s a larger Eroski/Syp and Lidl about 2 miles inland on the way to Pollensa. The bus service to both Pollensa and PP is reliable, though infrequent (costing 1.50E each way with no discounts). Choice of eating out is limited in CSV itself, particularly as Modesto has now closed (out of business); we ate at Pepe’s and La Tosca just down from the complex, and also in Pollensa (Bar Nou) and PP. Whilst CSV is a quiet and family-oriented resort, to note there's quite loud music most evenings from the main hotel from about 9.30pm which however reliably ends at 11.00pm (apart from Saturday when it went on till 2.00am). Overall, we had a very relaxing time and very much enjoyed our stay. We spent most of the time relaxing on the villa terraces, by the pool when the children were swimming/playing, and on the nearest beach, Cala Molins. The owner Fernando is very responsive (we communicated via HomeAway messaging), and all the arrangements went as planned. In summary, we’d very much recommend a stay at this villa!

Nice and recommended!

Beautiful, clean and functional villa, located together with 11 other villas in a nice garden with a nice pool and pool area in the middle. We were together with 5 other families, total 12 adults and 12 children, in total we then rented 6 of the villas. This is a quiet area of what seems to be a quiet little town / village with great scenery to the sea and surrounding mountains / rocks. Perfect weather and temperature during our stay. Nice little beach only a few minutes walk away, good for swimming, snorkeling etc.Also 3 other beaches close by. The owner of villa 3 is very service minded and responds quickly, and also provided good advice and information about restaurants, shopping, activities and other prior to our arrival. It is a pleasure to recommend this place!

Beautiful house, garden and pool

It was great, thank you! We were two families (4 adults, 2 kids and a baby). Everything was greatly provided for. The owner sent us some good tips on local restaurants and excursions and the soon-to-be pensioner "Miguel" took great care of pool and gardens. Thanks
