Wonderful week long stay with extended family

We were lucky to have two days of snow and then sunny days in a most beautiful setting. A lovely comfortable home that easily accommodated our family of 8 adults and one toddler.

Family Weekend Celebration

We had an amazing time getting our family together to celebrate my father's 79th birthday! We got to relax, laugh, tell stories, EAT, play in the snow, gamble, go tubing, and master 1000 piece puzzles!!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Roth Mountain Retreat and both stays were great - given the opportunity, we’ll stay again! Perfect Home away from Home

We loved our stay ar the Roth Family Retreat! The house was beautiful and the location was great. It was fully stocked and the pool table and the hot tub were great perks. Karen and Ryann were very responsive. Highly recommend!

An unforgettable stay

The space was phenomenal - enough rooms to spread out without feeling crowded and plenty of areas to come together for meals and movie watching. Karen was an incredible host - super responsive and has thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Lake tahoe ski trip

Amazing place! Very clean and conveniently located. The snow plows were relatively quick to clear the driveway. Karen was extremely quick with responding. Would definitely rent again if i came back!

We have been to this beautiful home for the second year in a row. A week full of laughter sun and plenty of fun. The house is well stocked and has plenty games for young and old. We really enjoyed our stay at Roth Mountain Estate. Good location, 15 minutes to most everything for comfort. Beautiful home and so well decorated with everything you need for a prolonged visit. Definitely coming back.

Tahoe 2024

We took our adult children to Tahoe this year. They all kept repeating how nice this VRBO was! Our youngest son who travels a lot was very impressed and said, "this one is better than the pictures!" It was CLEAN and comfortable, truly outstanding. Thank you for providing this lovely place in beautiful Tahoe!

Roth Mountain Retreat

My Family (7 adults and 2 young children) had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Roth Mountain Retreat home. The home is wonderful. It is spacious and in a lovely location, being only 10-15 minutes from Lake Tahoe. The home is excellently equipped, even having items to support infants. We really enjoyed the big dining table allowing us to have family dinner all together at one table. The jacuzzi was enjoyed and required no set up.

Amazing Tahoe Retreat

Such a lovely home and wonderful open plan space for families!l Our group consisted of 5 adults, 2 Teenagers and a very well behaved Labrador retriever, all whom had an amazing time. The home itself was very comfortable and provided many quiet areas as well as the cool open upper family space for all to do their own thing, while being in same vicinity. The only “Even Better If” (EBI+) I would offer to the lovely owners is, please consider Wi-Fi Extenders to include the outside deck area with more coverage. I do realize that we are there to disconnect, though everyone has different needs and would be a positive upgrade. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!!❤️

We loved the spacious layout of the house and the proximity to everything we love to do- Hiking, biking, boating, paddleboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skiing, etc. Its an outdoor persons paradise! We love to invite friends & family and fill the house with fun & memories. Easy in & out access off highway 50 is a plus to avoid the heavy traffic heading into the village during high traffic hours.

Plenty of room for family reunions, multi families or lots of friends with a large great room concept and HUGE kitchen with entertaining for all.
3 of the 4 Bedrooms have Cal King size beds, the 4th has a queen and twin bunks. Gorgeous mountain views from the bedroom windows are breathtaking.
Downstairs game room has TV and pool table and dry bar area for more entertaining. We've brought tons of games & puzzles for all to enjoy. We are also pet friendly for house trained fur babies with a refundable pet deposit. We can be flexible on arrival time and departure times with prior consent- depending on the rental schedule.
