As background, I travelled to Nimes alone for the purpose of seeing the various Roman artifacts, ruins, and intact structures. I have interest in the Roman Empire and Nimes did not disappoint.
I really enjoyed staying at this property. I would say it is just right for 1 person or a couple who would be spending most of their time outside. I did not need the bed in the small living area so I can't attest to that, one way or the other.
The kitchen and bathroom appear to be quite new. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and it was quite easy to prepare a meal, which I did for breakfast and a dinner or two. The bathroom is also new, large, comfortable and the water was hot.
The bedroom was large and mattress was firm. The air conditioner was in the bedroom and it did the job. Note that when I was there temperatures outside where around 75F during the day.
I never watched the television so I can't comment on that.
For me, the best intrinsic characteristic of this property is it's location. It is situated a short way down a small alley, which is off a one-way street, mostly pedestrian.
When you exit the alley you will literally run into 2 small, pleasant restaurants, Turning left you will send you to a main street with restaurants to your left and right (L'Accent Bistrot on the right corner is outstanding). Turning right will send you on a wonderful winding walk through the Old Town with many stunning sites to see.
