Amazing stay. Perfect location!

We loved our stay here. Everything was as advertised and Martin was so communicative and helpful. The apartment was perfect for the cost and we will absolutely come back to Nimes and stay here again.

Very comfortable flat in a great location

We had a fantastic 5 five day stay in Nimes and this was a great base. 15 minutes walk from the rail station and everything we wanted to see within an easy walk. The flat is comfortable and well equipped. Very close to some great places to eat, but also has what you need to make meal. Spacious enough for two. Our host, Martin, provided a great welcome and was available for any queries. Would certainly recommend.

Nimes charming apartment

This apartment is well-located in the Historic Centre of Nimes, and the host is very knowledgeable of the area and very friendly. Martin was extremely helpful with our efforts during our month-long stay as we were making long-term plans to stay in Nimes. The apartment has been updated and is well furnished including the kitchen. It's close to public transportation stops for when you want to venture further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at this VRBO and are happy to have met Martin.

1 Week Stay in Nimes

As background, I travelled to Nimes alone for the purpose of seeing the various Roman artifacts, ruins, and intact structures. I have interest in the Roman Empire and Nimes did not disappoint. I really enjoyed staying at this property. I would say it is just right for 1 person or a couple who would be spending most of their time outside. I did not need the bed in the small living area so I can't attest to that, one way or the other. The kitchen and bathroom appear to be quite new. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and it was quite easy to prepare a meal, which I did for breakfast and a dinner or two. The bathroom is also new, large, comfortable and the water was hot. The bedroom was large and mattress was firm. The air conditioner was in the bedroom and it did the job. Note that when I was there temperatures outside where around 75F during the day. I never watched the television so I can't comment on that. For me, the best intrinsic characteristic of this property is it's location. It is situated a short way down a small alley, which is off a one-way street, mostly pedestrian. When you exit the alley you will literally run into 2 small, pleasant restaurants, Turning left you will send you to a main street with restaurants to your left and right (L'Accent Bistrot on the right corner is outstanding). Turning right will send you on a wonderful winding walk through the Old Town with many stunning sites to see.

Appartement ok en soi, mais sans possibilité de voir le ciel ni aucune vue

Une fenêtre donne sur la ruelle étroite et l’autre sur une terrasse servant de débarras. Très propre, et arrivée et départ sans aucun souci.Séjour en janvier sans souci, chauffage et eau chaude fonctionnent très bien.Le lit de 160cm a un confort limité, le moindre mouvement d‘une personne est directement ressenti par l‘autre, le matelas a peu de moelleux.Le canapé n‘est pas très confortable, ni assis ni allongé.La connexion internet permet une simple navigation, mais de travailler sereinement. Les 2 portes intérieures ont des charnières sont bruyantes, les clenches sont très bruyantes. Le ventilateur de la salle de bain est très bruyant et n’a que très peu de débit.Une deuxième petite table serait la bienvenue, dans la chambre par exemple, ainsi que des patères dans la salle de bain.Le nombre de serviettes fournies est un peu limite (1 par pers.).La descente d‘eau de l‘étage supérieur est bruyante.Tous ces points ont été signalés au propriétaire qui a immédiatement réagi en augmentant le débit du routeur.La situation dans Nîmes est parfaite.

Appartement conforme à mes attentes, bien entretenu,proche des commerces et du centre ville. Pas besoin de la voiture, tout est bien desservi. Le soleil en prime et le séjour a été parfait.

L'appartement est très bien situé, vraiment proche de toutes les belles choses à visiter sur Nîmes , en centre ville sans nuisances .Il est très bien agencé et très fonctionnel , tout y est parfait, je le recommande les yeux fermés

Nîmes à pieds

Excellente localisation, au calme, même si la ruelle peut faire un peu gloque, elle a l'avantage d'être au calme en plein centre. Le gros point fort de l'appartement est sa localisation, qui permet de profiter pleinement du centre ville à pied. Un hebergeur au top pour les renseignements et la réactivité pour repondre aux demandes.

Très chouette appartement dans un très chouette quartier !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce joli appartement bien agencé, très calme et très propre. La literie est de bonne qualité, la chambre et la salle de bain de bonne taille. Son emplacement est particulièrement appréciable, à deux pas des Halles et de nombreux restaurants. On peut également facilement rejoindre la gare à pied, en passant - excusez du peu - par la Maison Carrée et les Arènes. Si l'occasion se présente, nous y reviendrons sans hésiter !

Appartement bien équipé et bien situé. Mon séjour étais un peu court (3 nuits) pour en profiter pleinement car je pense l'appartement est idéal pour des séjours d'une semaine et plus.

Appartement conforme aux photos en ce qui concerne l'intérieur ainsi que l'emplacement dans la ville qui est parfait pour tout visiter à pied. Quelques points "négatifs", l'été il est impossible d'ouvrir complètement la fenêtre de la chambre car celle-ci donne directement (les gens peuvent entrer par la fenêtre s'ils le souhaitent) sur une "terrasse" des voisins derrière, et si vous tombez un soir où ils font une soirée, bon courage pour dormir. Quant à la fenêtre du salon dommage qu'il ne soit pas précisé que le logement se situe dans une petite ruelle de 2m de large, vous avez donc une vue sur un mur ce qui rend l'appartement sombre. En cette période de COVID c'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas à disposition des produits désinfectants et tout le nécessaire pour faire correctement le ménage.

Deux pièces très confortable dans le centre historique

L appartement a été rénové à neuf, il y a tout le confort pour un couple et la cuisine est très bien équipée. Il est très bien situé à deux pas de la Maison Carrée et donc à 15 minutes à pied de la gare sncf / routière. Il est assez sombre car la cuisine donne sur une ruelle très étroite . La fenêtre de la chambre donne sur la terrasse d’un autre appartement. On peut donc faire courant d’air. Mais si les voisins sont sur cette terrasse tard il faut fermer la fenêtre ( double vitrage performant ) si on a le sommeil léger. Nous reviendrons.

Un accueil très agréable Un logement très propre, très fonctionnel, tout à fait comme annoncé et selon les photos. Situation près de tout: possibilité de tout visiter à pied. Seul bémol: quand on dit que le stationnement est facile et gratuit... j'ai eu certaines difficultés à trouver des stationnements et certains soirs, j'ai dû débourser plus que je ne m'attendais... Pour le reste, PARFAIT! Merci beaucoup, Martin.

Appartement très bien placé ; arrêt de bus juste à côté ; gare à 15 - 20 mn à pied ; magasin le franprix ouvert le dimanche toute la journée très pratique quand on arrive en vacances ; Seul bémol : le voisinage est un peu bruyant surtout vers les 2 - 3 h du matin ... Et pas de grasse matinée à prévoir : le nettoyage des rues à 8h du matin...
