Location is superb. Apartment very quite when windows shut. Would be a problem sleeping in hot weather with windows open. Street does quiet down after midnight. Every thing in old town is maximum of 20 minute walk. Tons of patio restaurants in the vicinity. Les Halles market with multiple fish, meat, vegetable, and cheese vendors is 5 minute walk. Host did not communicate in english. If you do not know french, then you must use google translate to read messages from host and to compose your messages to host.

Spacious well appointed apartment with comfortable seating, however, in order to have natural light privacy was foregone as there were no blinds or nets at the front windows.The listing states 2 bedrooms but there is 1 bedroom and 1 sleeping area as the futon is in the living area.The bathtub looked a little dated

Perfect location

The location of this listing is within walking distance to all the historical sites we wanted to visit: Musee des Vieux Nimes, Les Halles des Nimes, the Amphitheater, Maison Carre, and many others. The neighborhood was nice with a mix of live and work spaces, close to garage parking, and the unit itself was quite secure behing a key entry gate and additional door locks. We did run out of paper products that were not supplied by the host, but a quick trip to the nearby convenience shop would remedy the need.

Nice comfortable place for your trip to Nîmes!

We had a very nice long stay and comfortable stay in this apartment. We found it to have everything we needed for a two week stay. There was a little noise outdoors at night, but nothing that bothered us too much. My only complaint is the apartment was a little dusty. But location was great for discovering all Nîmes them has to offer.

Another great week

We rented this apartment for a second time for a full week. A very homey and stylish apartment, located near all the great amenities that Nimes has to offer. Highly recommended.

Kurze Laufdistanzen zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, wenn man die einzigartige Wohnung überhaupt verläßt

Schlüsselübergabe mit Safe war völlig problemlos. Die Fotos bilden den Charme der Wohnung nur teilweise ab. Dass man das Gatter zum Hofeingang Von innen auch mit einem schalter öffnen kann, haben wir erst bei Der Abreise bemerkt. Kommen gerne wieder.

L’appartement est très bien situé et donne un accès rapide aux principales attractions touristiques de Nimes. Situé à quelques pas des Halles, il nous permettait de faire nos courses alimentaires facilement avec des produits de qualité. À proximité de la boulangerie Le pétrin Nîmois que l’accueil n’a d’égal que la qualité des aliments. Homey and stylish

A wonderful large stylish apartment in a great location - the amazing ‘Marche’ is just around the corner. Many large windows for light and ventilation, the small street was very quiet at night. Generally, a warm and homey feel - would definitely stay there again.

Our stay

Overall our stay was very nice and the apartment was comfortable. Things like soap, paper towels, garbage bags and toilet paper were very limited and it would have been much easier to have them available.

(Fast) sehr gute Wohnung, hilfsbereite Vermieterin Die Vermieterin hat uns bei zwei Anfangsproblemen sehr geholfen (Modifikation Buchungszeitraum und Gepäck am Anreisetag). Dafür auch an dieser Stelle noch einmal unser herzlicher Dank! Schöne, große Wohnung in einem alten Gebäude. Dank der dicken Mauern und sehr hohen Räumen bleibt sie auch an heißen Tagen noch ziemlich angenehm. Es gibt nur zwei kleinere Nachteile: 1) Wir hätten uns mehr praktische Küchenutensilien gewünscht (Markthalle ist in direkter Nähe, da bekommt man natürlich Lust richtig zu kochen). 2) Die Fenster zur Straße sind wunderbar schallisolierend. Wenn man aber keinen ganz festen Schlaf hat, sollte man sie aber auch nachts geschlossen halten, denn die schmale Gasse verstärkt jedes Geräusch. (Das wussten wir anfangs noch nicht und so war die erste Nacht für uns nicht so erholsam.) Insgesamt aber eine angenehme Wohnung mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Smart modern apartment near centre of old town

This is an apartment in an old heritage listed building. It has been tastefully renovated and offers a large comfortable bedroom as well as generous living spaces and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment is located just around the corner from a supermarket, with a shopping centre and traditional indoor market just a few steps further away. The town cathedral, the ancient walkways with numerous boutiques, and historical sites (such the 2,000 year old roman arena) are all within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay in this interesting part of Nimes and would happily stay again in this apartment.

Enjoying Nimes

I stayed in this lovely apartment in the city centre for 5 days while I explored Nimes and it’s historic sites. It is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect within walking distance of the sites, train station. The kitchen was well equipped to take advantage of the Les Halles market just steps away. The property manager was easy to reach for access to the apartment and to deal with any questions. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Parfait pour visiter Nîmes

Bel appartement, spacieux, haut de plafond, décoré avec goût et bien équipé. La localisation de l'appartement permet de sillonner la ville à pieds très facilement. Il y fait un peu chaud (OK c'est Nîmes en Juin :-)) mais il y a deux ventilateurs pour se rafraichir. La rue est parfois un peu bruyante mais on est en centre ville alors rien de bien choquant. Les instructions pour accéder à l'appartement sont claires et Vanessa très réactive. Très bonne adresse sans mauvaise surprise, allez-y en confiance.
