Couples Unique Getaway: The Bowling Club , Rural and Funky

The Forteviot Bowling Club and Green is open for a romantic getaway. Last used as a bowling club in 2019 we decided to create something a little special, trying to retain as many original features of the old Bowling club as possible. Situated on Dupplin Estate with excellent access to the countryside while only 10 minutes into Perth, 5 min to Forgandenny. It has a kitchen, shower room, WC, open plan living and bedroom area and a further sitting room and funky bar for some cocktails. Throw open the doors for an expanse of green. At night the watcha movie through the projector. Fishing on the river Earn is included. Lovely walks, there is nothing quite like it. An excellent base for exploring central Scotland.
The grass can still be used for bowling or a game of croquet . Outside BBQ and seating. Come and truly relax in this unique retreat.

What a fabulous view as you sit looking out, the former bowling green is the garden. It had everyting you would need for a comfortable stay. The village is stunning. The fishing was a lovely added bonis. Peefect place to stay

Beautiful location and property.

We had a lovely stay here. The property was well equipped and beautifully presented. The house was clean and comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful it truly felt like we were the only people in the area. The local area is well worth exploring on foot, many birds and small animals to be seen not to mention beautiful scenery. It was lovely to be able to see the stars at night and admire the darkness. We would love to stay again and highly recommend this property. The communication was excellent and there was absolutely no problems with our stay. Thank you very much, we had a wonderful time

A little piece of paradise

For complete peace and tranquility this property excelled. It has absolutely everything you could need for a self-catering break. It is the best equipped self catering property we have ever stayed in. Furniture, kitchen equipment,soft furnishings, beddings and towels are all top quality. Would most certainly return again.

When the bowling club closed we thought the building was too historic and quaint to simply leave empty so we decided to keep a lot of the old features and turn it into a unique stay

There's nothing like it in the UK - possibly the world. It has a huge private bowling green in front of it - just throw open the doors and let the sunshine stream in. Lovely walks to the river through the A-listed picturesque village of Forteviot
