Great location, easy access to all parts of the island. Very comfortable and clean. We had a great stay and highly recommend! Owners were on site when we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know.

St patty’s weekend

A fun getaway!

The studio apartment had a great view, and I loved seeing the huge ocean barges coming and going on their way to Savannah. Being right on the beach made it easy to get up for sunrises and beach walks, as well. The apartment is a nice size for one or two people and was clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning, which was wonderful coming in from the beach or biking. The bed was extremely comfortable, too. Most of all, the property owners were friendly, easily accessible and eager to make sure I had a great stay. I would choose this spot again.

Studio apartment!

It was the perfect location with the best view! I could not have dreamed to be any better. The ladies I talked to that managed the property were so friendly. I left feeling like I had made friends! I would highly recommend and I myself will absolutely book again!

Dated but comfortable. Sliding door very stiff to open and close. Location good - can watch sunrise from balcony and see the ocean. Eroding beach at the adjoining public access could present issues going forward.

Quiet Paradise

Everything was wonderful, enjoyed quiet alone time. I very much needed time to recharge my batteries and just chill. This was the perfect place to do it. Hosts were great and easy to reach. No complaints at all, would love to enjoy a return trip to Oceanwatch #3!

Good location, needs some updates

I have heard that some updates to the property will be coming soon. It is very close to the beach and having parking available is a huge bonus. We could hear talking/conversing from the people in the adjoining property, and would have been nice to post photos of the bathroom; it's a bit small, but overall for just me and my wife, everything was just ok.

Overall, my stay was great. The only bummer was that the pics of the listing seem to be old and don't reflect the current view from the condo or the access to the beach. They've built dunes between the condo and the beach, and the only way to access the beach is to walk 3 blocks down the street (about 5 mins). From the unit, you view the dunes and parking lot while sitting down with your coffee and can't really hear the ocean. If you stand, you can see the ocean, though. Despite this, I had a good time, and the beach was lovely. I was just looking for a place that looked like the pic, where I was only a few steps away from the sand. Apparently the whole island is covered in dunes now, so there's not really much you can do about it if you go to Tybee. I may have chosen to go to a different spot if I'd known, though, tbh.

On the beach

Location was spot on, literally on the beach and the beach area was not by pier so it wasn’t crowded. The “apt” was literally one room with a queen bed mattress that had seen better days (I put extra pillows under the sheet as it sagged in the middle) the a/c wall unit was loud so I was glad I had ear plugs, For the size of this unit I think the “extra fees” were out of line too

Excellent location!

The studio was in a very nice location! The only suggestion I can offer is the floors need to be mopped with vinegar and Mr. Clean! As I am a professional cleaner for 22 years I know the tricks! I'm sure the house keeper has no Idea what is going on as they floors appeared beautiful but when you are barefoot they are slick. A good vinegar mopping and they would be spotless. Otherwise everything was perfect!!

Perfect location - poor upkeep

First of all, the location was perfect and we had a wonderful time. Parking was ehhh. Lots of people pull in trying to park for beach access, then turn around, so your vehicle is subject to dings. Several times we watched from our room and they got close to ours, as well as, other visitors. It worked out though... The beach was amazing, and we will definitely go back to Tybee. No doubt! The manager was very nice, and responsive. Someone complained of noise one night, and she called with apologies the next day, even thouugh we were not bothered by it, but it was very nice of her just the same. BUT, the property needs attention. The room was not clean. Not at all. It was really bad. I didn't complain to her about it, because honestly, nothing could be done without disrupting our vacation. We managed. Thank goodness I brought my own cups, plates, Clorox wipes, towels...etc The curtains, which you must grab constantly opening and closing the door, because they are sliding glass doors, were filthy. Spots and stains everywhere. The second set of sliding doors, were glazed over like headlamps on a vehicle get after age. The view was COMPLETELY obstructed. The inside of the microwave was dirty. Alongside the refrigerator was filthy. Disgusting. The pictures don't mention that directly in front of your unit there is dilapidated house. Literally 25 foot, and its the first thing you see upon opening the curtains. We managed. Our aggravation is 100% with the cleanliness. Bottom line. This place should not be in this condition. The upkeep has been neglected, and it shows. We loved our beach time and we loved the location, but being charged a cleaning fee is a joke because was/is non-existant.

Mother/Daughter get away

This property was great! Everything expected and more. Kathee was very friendly and accommodating. Location was very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again. Had a great time with my mom relaxing and watching sunrises from the deck.

Beautiful property with a beautiful view!

We had a great, relaxing time in Tybee. It was cold and it was off season so we didnt get to do much, but this little cottage-esque place was great. We were able to enjoy when it was sunny on the cute porch. Great restaurants are just blocks away. I would definitely return here and rent this property again! Thanks for everything!

Just enough

This cottage was just enough for us. Close to the beach. Everything was exactly as described and pictured in the ad. The host was fantastic, great communication. Easy check in/check out. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thanks for having us.

We simply fell in love. We purchased this property within 12 hours of every having set foot on Tybee. My sister refused to leave, so we purchased this unit, 1A Ocean Watch and 1B so our entire family could vacation together.
