Our family of 10 (ages 3 to 85), spent six days at this breathtaking spot on Lake Roosevelt. The house is gorgeous! It is in a secluded place and feels like a camping trip, but has all the comforts of home; washing machine, nice bathrooms, dish washer, coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, etc. There are even games and puzzles for the quiet nights, binoculars for wild life watching, a grill, and a raft down by the water. Only the occupants of the house can get to the beach from the land side, so we had the beach to ourselves. There is no cell or internet service unless one has AT&T, but that was what we were looking for. (You can always drive 15 minutes back towards Creston or Wilbur to get service.) The only downside is that you have to walk down a pretty steep hill to get to the beach. It was not a problem for anyone except for the 85 year old, but she managed it one time. Over all it was a great experience and Marlene and Ed were thoughtful hosts! We will definitely be back!
