We had a fabulous time here. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices and such. Kitchen was a bit tight for our group (20 people) so we ate in shifts or outside. There were tons of inside and outside games. The beach was where most of our time was spent. There were lots of chairs and a couple kayaks and canoes. My grandkids loved the "Tiki Bar" and actually cried when we left. Beach was in shade for first part of day..best sun time was afternoon. Mosquitoes were an issue in the evening... bring lots of bug spray! The Stitts have put a lot of thought and effort into making their home a magical place for others! I highly recommend

Comfortable, roomy, great kitchen, easy access to the lake, lots of wildlife, toys(indoor and outdoor), books, games of all kinds to play, great swing for the kids, large outdoor table to accommodate many people at one time for meals, fast internet, landline phone, vhs/dvd machines along with many movies to view. Cheryl is a great host and was always very quick to answer any questions before and during our trip. Would definitely stay there again when we have a family gathering.

Hidden Gem

We love staying at Cheryl's cabin on Lake Roosevelt. Cheryl is an excellent host and has a very nice property. It is very secluded and yet is still connected to the world. We love this place and hope to visit many more times.

Lovely home

We appreciated staying here and it was well set up for our family gathering. The kitchen had enough dishes for everyone as well as cooking utensils and serving dishes. The wood stove was lovely on the colder days, and there’s a good selection of games/puzzles for entertainment. It is well off the beaten path in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
