We (two semi-retired couples) enjoyed our stay at this location. Generally well equipped, though it lacks any kind of grill, that has become a staple on most properties of this type. We were well informed of such, so could plan accordingly. The cabin is secluded, and you might wonder about the vicinity as you drive in, but we had no concerns while present. Host was very responsive to all questions.

The cabin is beautiful, roomy, and well stocked. The view of the river is unmatched, and there is plenty of space to enjoy it. We were a small group of three looking to escape the heat and relax, and this cabin was perfect. The location is central to all the area has to offer. Communication was thorough and timely, and we had no issues at all during our stay. This is a really great place to stay in South Fork!

Our week in south fork at the riverside cabin was great, beautiful cabin right by the river. Saw some beautiful scenery and wildlife on our ATV rides. So nice to get away to the mountains and cool temperatures. Met some interesting people. And found old friends. Wonderful time had by all

We have stayed here many years and this was like the rest, great house and location. There was some new bedroom furniture and the bench in the master bedroom was a great addition. Overall a excellent experience!

Peaceful River Home

This home sits right beside the river. It is a beautiful home inside with a back porch that is so peaceful to sit and relax and take in the beautiful scenery. We enjoyed seeing the momma deer and 2 babies along with other local wildlife. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again sometime. It is a great location close to town and easy driving distance to other towns that are fun to go check out.

Perfect getaway!

Loved the cabin. Had all the necessities you might need/want. There isn’t a grill which we were notified beforehand and took our own. Perfect quiet location on the river. Loved opening up the cabin to hear the river.

Great Get A Way!

Booked last minute for a spontaneous trip and was exactly what we hoped for! House was very clean and well maintained! Right on the Rio Grande River was very beautiful and relaxing! Enjoyed a deer grazing in the yard!

Our favorite place

We enjoy staying here and the quietness of the neighborhood. Lots of room to spread out. There was deer in the yard most days and of course the river.

Quiet Riverfront

Great cabin and amenities. Great porch for meals and sitting and listening to the Rio roll by. You can fish to the property lines but we went elsewhere for all of our fishing on the Rio and fished some creeks. Would recommend highly for the scenery and closeness of the river and the solitude.

Great view of the river

This is our second time to stay at the cabin and would stay in it again. We love the view from the back deck. Just know you do not have access to a closet in the master bedroom. We just used the closet in one of the other bedrooms. Last time we were there we had a grill, but this time they didn't have one and we missed it.
