This property sits back off the highway right on the Rio Grande River. Featuring a two bedroom one bath condo lovely space with a fully stocked kitchen and fire place to keep you warm. This cozy nook is close to all things outdoors you may want to do but also just outside of town to offer the peaceful tranquility you may be looking for by getting away from the normal groove of life. Come stay with us and you can run to Wolf Creek in just 20 minutes to ski or jump in the river for some great fly fishing just out your back deck. This place has so much to offer in South Fork your base camp for adventure.

Meh.

The property was OK, but nothing special. The biggest complaint was that the back porch was filthy: dirty and overrun with spider webs. The BBQ grill was gross. It would have been nice to enjoy sitting near the river in the morning or evening, but this was rendered impossible by the condition of the back porch. Most vacation rentals are decorated nicely with personal touches. Not this location. It was mediocre in pretty much all aspects. If you're visiting the South Fork area just to fish or other outdoor recreation and only need a place to sleep for a few hours, great. But don't expect a place with any ambience or charm.

Cozy river-front cabin

We loved our family vacation at your 2-bedroom 1-bath cabin on the Rio Grande in South Fork. We drove to Wolf Creek every morning to ski and had a warm and comfortable cabin to return to in the evenings. The view of the frozen river was stunning and we enjoyed the gas fire place. Our only recommendation to the owners would be to include a few additional items tp make the cabin more homey and easier to maintain such as a broom, coasters, place mats, and non-stick skillets. Thanks for your hospitality and the lovely cabin, we had a fantastic time!
