You’ll love our updated cozy home in a quiet neighborhood. A one-level rancher on a 1-acre treed lot. Our place is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers, and families (MAX 6 guests). We are open to accommodate dogs, please inquire with Host for approval before booking, additional nightly and cleaning fees will apply.

2 bedrooms have King beds and the living room has a Pullout Queen sofa sleeper w/ memory foam. Updated bathrooms w/heated floors . Fireplace. Ping-Pong table

20-min drive to Wolfcreek resort, 3 min to Rio Grande River public launch area, and 3 mins to Rio Grande Golf Resort, local restaurants, and grocery.

The space
1570 sqft single-level home.

Both bedrooms: have King Beds, ceiling fan, closet, and dresser. The Master Bedroom has a private bathroom and large windows with tranquil view of the treed back yard. The Guest bedroom has convenient access to the guest bathroom across the hall and also views of trees.

Both bathrooms: have been updated with heated floors and include grab bars. The Master bath has a stone shower (with shower panel + small seat) and a bidet. The Guest bath has a standard-size tub that is Jetted, heated, and has LED lights.

The spacious living room: has a direct view of Beaver mountain. It has a Smart TV and large sectional with 2 electric recliners and a pull-out queen sofa sleeper. There is also a large fireplace/sitting area (wood is provided in the cooler seasons). There is a private door to the front of the house.

The work space/small desk/office chair: is located in the living room.

The Kitchen: has been updated with new appliances, TV, maple butcher block island, and granite counter tops. It is fully stocked for your cooking needs. There is an Electric fireplace to heat and for ambiance. The dining room will seat 6 people. We have extension for the dining room table and additional chairs in the garage.

The Laundry room: has been updated with new washer and dryer, utility sink, and has a folding table + expandable clothes rack. It also has a large pantry.

The front patio, has four rockers and side tables to relax and enjoy the view of Beaver Mountain.

The back deck/patio: has been newly painted. There is a stainless steel propane grill with grilling accessories and a standalone propane fire pit. Also, Patio table/4 chairs and two low chairs and side table. The yard is fenced in closely with metal fencing. Our property extends past the fence and is a treed lot.

The Garage can accommodate one vehicle. Includes a ping pong table and dart board available for guest use. There are old coolers, camping chairs, and snow sleds available for use. There is a long driveway that can accommodate multiple cars and trailer.

Please review photos. The back yard has a small fenced in area although on a 1 acre lot.

What a special place. Definitely, a cook's kitchen.Which was such a nice surprise. I brought some good knives and other kitchen things that usually aren't in a rental but there was everything I needed. So much attention to detail, including nontoxic bath products. The owner was very responsive. I hope to come back.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We will definitely be back for a 3rd time. This house is great for our family. The house is always decorated so cute at Christmas time. The hosts are always so friendly and very responsive.

We visited during Winter break and this house is in a great location to find numerous winter activities e.g. tubing, ice fishing, skiing, snow shoeing. We saw lots of deer roaming the neighborhood. The amenities were great and the hosts made us feel welcome. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean, and we found the jacuzzi was a great treat after our long play days in the winter

We had a fabulous stay! The check-in instructions were very clear, and to our surprise, the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The wood-burning fireplace was a wonderful bonus. Everything in the house was clearly labeled, and accommodations were made for our two dogs. When previous reviews mentioned that the kitchen was fully stocked, they truly meant it—this home exceeded our expectations in that regard. Just bring your groceries; the property owner provides everything else you need. The town was charming and conveniently located near Wolf Creek. We are looking forward to staying again; this place is a true gem! Genuine thank you to our host. Best VRBO stay yet.

This is a beautiful home with all the things you need and like for a vacation home. There are extra spices and seasonings if you don’t have your own. Ample dishes and cookware, glassware etc. bathrooms and beds are top notch and comfortable. The decor inside the home is beautiful. The patio is a beautiful place you can grill, eat or read. The trees and the mountain views are excellent. The community itself is quiet yet friendly. ILauren, the owner, is very responsive if you have a question or any issue. She even has doggie bowls, poop collectors, and treats for your pets. This is the best VERBO home we have stayed in. We would definitely stay againG & C Williams, Texas

This house was perfect for our needs (4 adults) and had extra touches that made it even better than expected. It felt like a home, not a rental. The host was great with communication. While packing to leave, my dad accidently thought our shopping bag with our souvenirs was trash from the bathroom and threw it out. When the housekeeper discovered it in the trash, they offered to mail it to us which is so appreciated. Everyone loved the South Fork area and we would stay here again .

Great stay

The house was very nice. Updated and comfy beds. I even looked up the bed in the Master and tried talking my husband into buying me one :) My sister and her boyfriend stayed in the other king sized bed and she said it slept good too.

Fabulous spot

What a unique property! Everything we needed and some extra perks that we loved. Close to Wolf Creek. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Clean, comfortable, felt like a home. Full kitchen, king sized beds plus a fold out couch, and heated floors in the bathrooms. We absolutely loved our stay and are excited for our next visit! Lauren was very accommodating and helpful! Highly recommend.

Everything you need and more

This house has everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. Fenced backyard for our pup to enjoy the cold weather. Large fireplace and plenty of wood. Privacy with excellent window coverings. (I always hate staying somewhere where I have to end up putting a blanket over the windows - this house was perfect!) very easy to commute to from Texas. 25 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski area and about an hour from Pagosa Speings for the hot springs. Inspired us to find a house in the area - we fell in love with South Fork.

Excellent Stay. Thoughtful Hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The owners were incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual amenities and a ton of extra thoughtful touches that made cooking and dining so convenient. What really impressed us was when we accidentally left something behind— Laura went above and beyond to promptly arrange shipping for it. Truly outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful, Peaceful Place

My spouse and I are senior citizens who were looking to escape the summer heat in Tucson. This was perfect for us. We’ve stayed in many rentals in the past. This was by far the nicest. What was especially nice was the quality of all the furnishings and decor. This is the 1st place I’ve stayed that had beautiful dishes in the kitchen and great linens. Our dog loved the fenced backyard. When I had questions, the host was always available and fun to talk to.

Didn’t want to leave!

I’ve stayed at lots of rental properties and this was my favorite by far!!! The details in every room were incredible. They didn’t miss a thing! It cozy, comfortable, and clean! All the appliances were top notch and easy to use. The windows and lighting were perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook and make a great meal or bake. The plants throughout the home were a nice touch and made it feel so homey. The deck outside had a great table with an umbrella, as well as an easy to use fire pit for those cold evenings! Also, it constantly smelled amazing thanks to all the doTERRA! I would 100% recommend this house to others and hope to stay here again soon!

Aloha and Welcome!

Originally from Hawaii, I now proudly call Colorado home. My husband and I have been coming to Southfork, Wolfcreek, and the San Juan Mountains for over 25 years, and it's become a special retreat for us. We love spending time outdoors with our two dogs, exploring all the adventures the area has to offer. In the winter, you’ll find us snowboarding and cross-country skiing, while in the warmer months we enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and backpacking through the stunning landscapes.

Beyond outdoor activities, I have a passion for cooking, gardening, and, of course, champagne! Hosting has been a joy of mine for the past decade, giving me the chance to connect with wonderful guests from around the world. I personally manage our properties to ensure every stay feels welcoming, and I’m always happy to provide recommendations to make your visit even more memorable.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

It's a quiet and established neighborhood. The proximity: It is the one of the closest neighborhoods to Wolfcreek Ski/Pass (only 20 mins!). We can walk or a quick couple mins drive to the Rio Grande River. I like there is a public river docking area where you can drop off/of load your boats/raft/kayaks. We are only 3 mins from restaurants and local grocery store. We are also only a few minutes from the Rio Grande Golf and resort. There is much wild life in the neighborhood where you can regularly see: Deer, wild turkey, birds, and a large tree nearby with a committee of Turkey Vultures!

This is a one level rancher surrounded by large trees (not many properties in South Fork have treed lots). It is convenient to all the outdoors has to offer but still close to local restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and rental/outdoor outfitters shops. We have a long U shaped driveway for easy parking for multiple cars, RV, boats, etc... We have a garage to park one car.
