Apartment for 2 people, in an ancient stone barn, on the edge of the woods and the medieval village; lovely fully fenced private garden. Lovely view of the small village and surrounding mountains.
Bedroom with double bed, living room with well-equipped kitchen (4-burner gas stove, fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine) and a fireplace with glass door, perfect for cool mid-season evenings!
From the living room there is direct access to the fenced garden, oriented to the east, equipped with deckchairs, chairs and a stone table for romantic breakfasts.
Bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Utility room for laundry use with washing machine, sink, iron and ironing board.

Heerlijk verblijf

Hele fijne plek en prima informatie vooraf door Lucia ontvangen. Huisje ligt op een mooie locatie, in een rustig dorpje, weg van de drukte van het como meer.

Romantischer kleines Garten-Appartment mit Anschluss

...Lucia ist eine besondere Person mit viel Wissen über ihre Heimat und liebevollem und fürsorglichen Interesse für ihre zwei und vierbeinigen Gäste. Durch viele kleine Gesten und Taten gibt sie ihren Gästen das schöne Gefühl willkommen zu sein, ohne dabei zu nahe zu treten oder observierend zu wirken. Das Appartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, um angenehm und entspannt seinen Urlaub zu verbringen. Wenn es kühl wird, steht wie von Zauberhand genug Holz für den Kamin zur Verfügung. Das kleine Gärtchen vor der Tür ist ein hübsches kleines Paradies mit balkonartigen Ausblick über das Dorf, in dessen Leben man während des Aufenthalts mit eingebettet ist. Auch unsere drei kleinen Hunde waren nicht einfach nur geduldet, sondern herzlich empfangen worden. Wir sind verliebt in diesen Ort und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Grazie mille cara Lucia ❤️🌿☀️🌺

Super goed verblijf.

Het was super goed alles was er. Gastvrouw top ze geeft je veel tips en informatie. We zaten midden tussen het Italiaans volk en dat maakt het zo leuk.je kan er ook hele mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Alles was schoon en netjes, toen we aankwam stond de rosé al klaar met fles water en toen we naar huis gingen kregen we als kado nog een heerlijke fles rode wijn.

Entspannung und Ruhe bei netten Menschen

Es war unser erster Urlaub in Italien, den wir inzwischen seit 3 Jahren zunächst coronabedingt, später gesundheitsbedingt aufgeschoben hatten. Seitdem waren wir auch mit der sehr netten Vermieterin, Lucia, in Kontakt. Sie informierte uns ständig über Ausflugsziele und Events rund um den Comer See. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts fühlten wir uns rundum gut betreut und beraten. An der Unterkunft gab es keinerlei Beanstandungen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung etwas abseits der Touristenströme sucht, ist hier hervorragend aufgehoben. Die Umgebung bietet herrliche Wandermöglichkeiten mit wunderbaren Ausblicken. Die uralten Ortschaften haben einen ganz besonderen Reiz. Aber auch direkt am Comer See kann man das südländische Flair mit den Bergen im Hintergrund bestens genießen. Danke für den wunderschönen Urlaub, Lucia.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in idyllischem Bergdorf

Die Wohnung war geschmackvoll und gut eingerichtet. Wenn man auf Ruhe und das typische italienische Bergdorf steht und viel grün dann trifft man eine gute Wahl. Vom Dorf kommt man direkt zu Wandertouren in die Berge. Im Sommer ist es ca. 5 Grad kälter wie unten am Comer See, was sehr angehm ist. In Menaggio und Umgebung ist für jeden etwas dabei...wir werden nächste Jahr wieder in die Gegend kommen...

Cosy, rustic apartment in a beautiful village

If you want to enjoy the wonders of Lake Como but want to be away from the hoards (and see something of local life), Lucia’s place is perfect. We loved our stay. The apartment was lovely, reasonably priced, and had everything we needed. Our host was also welcoming, accommodating and gave us great tips to enjoy our stay. We spent a day seeing the sights of the Lake and then two days in and around the village of Breglia. Lucia told us about walks to a local famous spring, a sanctuary and St Domonico’s (where there are stunning views of the Lake). We also walked the mountain (Monte Grona) beyond the Refugio behind Breglia, which was one of the highlights of our six week stay in Italy. The apartment has a small courtyard and garden out front which was beautiful for meals and afternoon drinks. There is also a restaurant close by, that serves inexpensive but tasty meals, if you don’t want to cook. I highly recommend Lucia, her apartment and Breglia as a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Lake Como and it’s natural wonders.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer tollen Wandergegend

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in Lucias Wohnung gefühlt. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Kamin ist ein echtes Highlight! Und es ist soooo ruhig! Man kann viele schöne Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus machen. Eine sehr schöne Gegend!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung für 2- und 4-beiner als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen

Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Der solide Zaun um den gemütlichen Garten war perfekt um unsere 4-beinahe Begleiterin sorglos in den Garten „entlassen“ zu können. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge an den See ist die Wohnung wirklich super geeignet. Ein kleiner Wehmutstropfen war die direkte Nachbarsfamilie mit ihrem überschäumenden italienischen Temperament, das einen ruhigen Tagesausklang im tollen Garten nicht wirklich möglich machte. Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr bemüht - herzlichen Dank, dass wir zu Gast sein durften.

Smart work nella natura

Cercavo un posto tranquillo in mezzo alla natura dove poter svolgere la mia attività in SW e Breglia ha fatto al caso mio. Inaspettato e quasi anacronistico per chi è abituato a vivere in una grande città. Rimpiango solo di non essermi goduta le numerose passeggiate che la zona offre. Lucia meravigliosa, gentilissima e sempre disponibile.

Es war wunderschön, Lucia ist sehr nett, haben nur die Besten Erfahrungen gemacht.

750m näher dem Himmel! ;)

Wunderschöne kleine Wohnung in einem typischen kleinen Bergdorf, oben auf 750m. Interessant auch wieder zu kommen um bei milderem Wetter auch mal zu den Berggipfeln zu wandern... Alles was man im Urlaub gebrauchen kann, ist vorhanden: gut ausgestattete Küche, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Haarföhn, Klappliegen usw. Parkplatz ist lagebedingt zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Zum Auto Be- und Entladen kann man auch näher an das Haus fahren. In 400m von der Wohnung kann man sich frisches Bergquellwasser holen. Wir haben uns von dort regelmässig mit Trinkwasser versorgt. Frühstücken und Essen kann man auch sehr gut am Steintisch im liebevoll angelegten kleinen Vorgarten und dabei die beeindruckende Berglandschaft geniessen. Lucia hat uns mit ganz vielen Informationen versorgt, so dass wir immer einen interessanten Ausflug auswählen konnten. Dies geschah entweder direkt, wenn Sie gelegentlich vor Ort war oder per Handy. Zu einem einheimischen Fest sind wir auch zusammen mit Lucia hin gewandert. Und so konnten wir mal erleben und geniessen wie dort gefeiert wird. Es war als ob wir uns schon sehr lange kennen. Dabei hat sie uns auch mit lokalen geschichtlichen Informationen versorgt. Lucia ist sehr engagiert und hat uns einen sehr schönen Urlaub bereitet! Mile grazie Lucia! :)

Schöne Ferienwohnung in den Bergen

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung Ginestra. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gepflegt und mit allen notwendigen Dingen (Küchenutensilien etc.) ausgestattet. Der kleine Garten ist liebevoll gestaltet und lädt zum Relaxen nach einem anstregenden Wandertag ein. Die Vermieterin Lucia hat uns sehr nett empfangen, viel Infomaterial zur Verfügung gestellt und viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Der kleine Ort Breglia liegt in den Bergen und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Menaggio liegt ca. 20 Autominuten entfernt und bietet alles was man sich am Comer See wünscht. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Urlaub!

Fantastic location and great October weather

We had a great stay in Breglia- the weather in October was great, the scenery breathtaking and food fantastic The local people are friendly and honest - indeed I lost my camera in Menaggio and I gave up on finding it only to receive an email from Lucia that it had been found - a neighbour had picked up the camera and seen the house on the camera and contacted Lucia and I received the said camera I had thought was gone forever Lucia is a great host- a fantastic host and I can't thank her enough for letting us stay

Ein typisch italienisches Bergdorf mit einer schön restaurierten Ferienwohnung

Wo auch immer man sich in Breglia befindet, in dem schön angelegten Garten, oder auf den schönen Wanderwegen, die Aussicht auf die Alpen, dem See und auf die wunderschönen Dörfer sind atemberaubend. Die Vermieterin Lucia und deren Familie sind bei kleinen und großen Problemen stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt rund um den See so viel zu entdecken ( Schiff oder Fähre ), und man fühlt sich manchmal wie in einer Filmkulisse. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem alten Haus, welches mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert wurde. Unser Hund Trude war bei stets, auch bei den Nachbarn, sehr willkommen. Wenige Gehminuten sind es zu einem guten Restaurant. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Fabulous home holiday in calm mountain village

We have spent wonderful days in the fresh, calm and very nice situated village Breglia in the mountains next to lake Como.Lucia is an excellent landlord-you see, hear and feel her guestfreinliness. It`s more than a job for her. She renovated the old house on her own and takes care for the lovely garden. The home holiday was in a very clean and good condition; in advance we recieved a lot of helpful informations about the place, how to find everything and touristical suggestions for the stay. On site you also find many helpful hiking cards, ferry time schedules and touristical informations. Also Lucia is always reachable in case of questions. The flat and the kitchen is very well equipped-also for babys the flat is very well equipped with a baby cot and chair without any extra charge. For unloading the car you reach the flat nearly 100m-from there you can use a barrow from Lucia for transport (really very helpful!). The village is nice; only the way to the next bakery, supermarket and lake Como (around 11 km away) takes time by car and needs to be planned/combined when you are on tour. There is one restaurant in the village-offering a touristical menu or a la carte. There is one walk to a church and shrine where you have a very nice paoramic view over lake Como We would recommend our friends to spent their holidays there. Many thanks Lucia for everything.

Wonderful stay

We have had a fantastic 2 week stay in Ginestra. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It was perfect for us, a couple with our dog. The garden was great, a place to relax and enjoy your surroundings and the nice views. The apartment and garden are secure although you don't feel it necessary. The neighbourhood of Breglia is very friendly and everyone speaks. The public car parking is near the church in the village and there is always plenty of space to get parked. Lucia was fantastic from the start she made us feel very welcome and was really informative in regards things to do / see in the area. She provided us with information leaflets and maps which we found very useful. She was willing to help with anything and was so kind. There are many walks from the village that provide you with stunning views of Lake Como. We eat several times at the Hotel Breglia, the meals were lovely and reasonably priced. Overall we have had a brilliant stay, I would definitely recommend Lucia and her apartments. We would love to return and hopefully we will!

A Perfect Family Holiday in Rural Italy

If you are looking for the perfect family getaway and you want a taste of rural Italy, then this is the holiday for you. We went in April, a glorious time to go – fewer tourists, but still the flowers were on show and the temperature hung around a comfortable 19-20 degrees. The house was beautiful and the village was like going back in time. Breglia is steeped in history and hasn't changed much for hundreds of years. The children were free to wander the many tight labyrinthian alleyways; running and hiding amongst the medieval buildings, while my wife and I relaxed on the balcony of the house, overlooking what was essentially a glorified playground. There is even an alpine-looking hotel serving food, beer and ice-cream! The village is positioned in the hills, about 20 minutes of winding chicanes above the tranquil shores of Menaggio (beautiful, serene – more lovely ice cream - about an hour north of Milan, and close enough for a day-foray into Switzerland). Many of the villagers still live in Breglia, but the place really is a picture frozen in time; slow, rustic, and safe. The children (ages 12, 10 and 7) loved it! From Breglia there is so much to do. The house overlooks Lake Como and surrounding mountains; birds chatter and busy themselves in the garden, the odd raven echoes in the distance, and the area is teeming with cute little lizards. But it is the people that made our stay particularly memorable. From local shopkeepers to the friendly crew onboard Como’s cruise-boats (relaxing, inexpensive and a great way to explore other lakeside wonders), the local Italians made us feel most welcome. None more so than Lucia, our host, who simply could not do enough for us, and made us feel totally at home. Lucia is a local historian and writer and knows everything about the area! Our holiday began weeks before our stay, through emails describing walks, excursions and other details that Lucia thought would be of interest to us. She was there waiting when we arrived, with chocolate eggs for the children (it was Easter, a nice touch!), and was such a fountain of knowledge and useful advice. Lucia really went that extra mile and our holiday was so much the better for it. The house itself was lovely; supremely clean and just how we wanted it. The garden was long and perfect for outdoor eating, but it was the village itself that was the best entertainer for the kids! I cannot recommend the house, Breglia, Lucia, and the area of Lake Como highly enough.

schöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der tollen Ferienwohnung Ginestra. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin Lucia war sehr unkompliziert und schon im Voraus bekamen wir tolle Tipps für unseren Urlaub per Mail zugesendet! Genauso nett und freundlich wurden wir auch in dem schönen Dorf Breglia empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Sie ist sehr gut ausgeschattet z.B. in der Küche gab es mehrere Töpfe, scharfe Messer und noch vieles mehr sodass man sich auch gut selbst verpflegen konnte. Außerdem hat man auch einen eigenen kleinen Garten der sich einfach perfekt zum sonnen eignet. Lucia hat uns viele Ausflugstipps geben können und auch vieles auf deutsch zum nachlesen gegeben. In Breglia kann man hervorragend spazieren gehen und man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf den Comer See. Ganz in der nähe der Ferienwohnung gibt es auch ein Restaurant bei dem wir in unserer einen Woche sogar drei mal essen waren, kann man also wirklich nur empfehlen - besonders der Cappuchino und das Tiramisu. Wir fanden die Lage perfekte da man mit dem Auto nicht lange bis nach Menaggio braucht und von dort aus entweder weiter mit dem Bus oder sogar mit der Fähre den Comer See erkunden kann. Unser Urlaub ist nun schon ein paar Wochen vorbei, doch trotzdem schwelgen wir noch gerne in Erinnerungen und können die Ferienwohnung wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Lucia dass wir so einen tollen Urlaub in Breglia verbringen durften und vielen Dank für die leckeren Pizzocheri!

Sanctuary ! .

What a relaxing and peaceful holiday staying at Pervinca ! , fantastic location in an un-spoilt area of Italy . Lucia the owner along with the towns residents were welcoming and friendly . The walks from the property are a must as the reward you get along the way are stunning , would thoroughly recommend to any one seeking traditional Italian hospitality .
