A little piece of heaven

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival, we discovered that the water supply was unavailable until six p.m. Additionally, a tropical storm was approaching. However, the facility was exceptionally pleasant and comfortable, allowing us to fully enjoy our week despite the challenges we faced. We are certainly looking forward to returning next season.

Review of our stay at Islander

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the elevators was out of service our entire stay. This made for lengthy waits getting in and out of the building. Our unit was comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, but the floors could have been cleaner. Overall we had a good stay.

We will make sure that these issues are addressed with housekeeping. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was nice...the exterior landscaping didn’t appear as kept up as it has in years past. I work in the landscape industry so I may pay closer attention to it. It wasn’t terrible just seemed like it could be better.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The islander and staff are very nice. We've stayed several times and usually enjoy ourselves. However this year the MBR mattress was terrible. It was so worn out that we could feel the springs and would wake up several times during the night sore. If you're charging platinum rates, then you should have a decent mattress.

5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at the Islander Owner's Association vacation rental in Destin, Florida in July 2025 for 3 nights, and let me tell you — it was flawless from start to finish.Location: You really can’t beat it. Just steps from the beach, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to anything you might need. Whether we wanted to relax or explore, everything was easily accessible.Cleanliness & Condition: The unit was spotless when we arrived. Everything was in great shape — fresh linens, fully stocked kitchen, and a comfortable, beachy vibe that made it feel like a true getaway. You could tell the owners take real pride in maintaining the place.Management Staff: Super friendly and responsive. From booking to check-out, communication was smooth and professional. They even gave us local tips on where to eat and what to do, which made our short trip even more memorable.Overall, this was one of the best vacation rental experiences I’ve had. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free stay in Destin. Five stars all around!– Oscar G.

Great Condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was a bit afraid to rent here because the condos aren't directly on the beach and because of the reviews of the long walk to the beach... But the walk was nothing! This condo has a great view, great location, was super clean, and they even had some games there we could play. Everything was as described. Our only complaint was with the building itself and not this particular condo - the elevator was not working the entire week we were there and this caused LOTS of waiting around to get up and down.
