The House Under The Ancient Tower

The House under the Ancient Tower stands at the foot of Chia’s Ancient Tower, where the promontory opens onto one of its most evocative views. Just a few steps away, on Sa Colonia beach, the ancient necropolis of Bithia silently preserves the memory of a landscape inhabited for millennia.

To the north, facing the tower, a short path leads to the two beaches embracing the promontory: to the right, the bright expanse of Colonia beach with its gently sloping seabed; to the left, the small cove of Su Portu, with deeper waters, once a refuge for fishermen on stormy days.

The house opens to the south, where the main patio overlooks a spacious private olive grove. Here, the light filters softly through the branches, inviting you to dine outdoors, rest, and let time flow while immersed in the garden’s quiet. A slightly elevated pathway, lined with a low stone wall, naturally guides you to the entrance. Three steps lead up to the private parking, convenient and adjacent to the property.

In the garden, you will find a masonry barbecue, a small utility basin, and an outdoor shower—small touches of comfort that make returning from the beach simple and enjoyable.

Inside, the living area welcomes you with bright light and an essential Mediterranean style: a bamboo table with matching chairs, rattan elements, and a colorful cabinet under the TV that adds character to the room.

The house offers two bedrooms with sliding wardrobes and a full bathroom. On the north side, a service veranda opens, cool and shaded, accessible from the bathroom: a space dedicated to practical functions, with bins for recycling, cleaning supplies, drying racks, and neatly arranged on the right, sun loungers, beach chairs, and an umbrella.

Every room is air-conditioned, and the house is equipped with Wi-Fi.
