The three of us enjoyed our stay within the redwoods very much. If someone is looking for a unique cottage truly in the most beautiful of settings, this is the place! The location has quick access to nature walks and it’s also an easy quick walk into Fairfax! Our hostess, Teresa, was very pleasant and if we had needed anything, I’m sure she would have been very accommodating! We hope to stay there again!! :)

This was such a lovely place to stay. Right near town but tucked in under the trees at the edge of the forest. Clean, comfortable, and very cozy, it had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Host was welcoming and available but respected our privacy. We definitely will stay here again the next time we return to Marin County, there is so much to explore.

It was my second time staying at Teresa's quiet cottage in the Redwoods. It was a great place to relax and connect with friends. The weather was warmer than usual for the Bay Area, but the cottage stayed nice and cool because of the surrounding Redwoods.

Peaceful stay in a beautiful location

We had an incredible time at this little cottage. The host is so friendly and helpful, making sure we had a travel crib for our 1 year old and giving lots of toddler-friendly suggestions for activities that we followed and really enjoyed. The cottage is cool and roomy but cosy, with a very comfy couch and nice open living area. Kitchen is well-equipped and well-stocked making it easy to cook, and the location is great as you can walk into town in 10 mins. Beds are comfy and cottage is quiet making for comfy sleep. The redwoods surrounding ensure you feel so at peace. We spent many hours sitting out front at the little table as our toddler napped. Truly a wonderful place to stay and we would return in a heartbeat!

This place is amazing!

We loved the town of Fairfax & this cabin! Deer sightings several times each day and the town is only a 10 minute walk! Amazing host and we’re already planning on visiting again.

Lovely lovely spot

We loved everything about this property. The Home is well laid out, cozy, and walking distance to delicious restaurants and a great park for our toddler. The redwoods are everywhere and needless to say, enchanting.

Such a comfortable place!

Perfect rainy weekend in Fairfax. This little pied-a-terre was just what we needed between and after our outdoor activities. Big plus: super comfy bed! Our host was really nice and helpful; she's a great communicator.

True Relaxation.

This is our 3rd time staying at this beautiful spot. Myself and my 3 brothers love to some, watch football and just recharge. Feels like Tahoe without the long drive. Can't wait to return.

Cozy house in a beautiful setting.

The house is very eclectic and cozy. It sits in a lovely grove of redwoods and is very quiet. The surrounding neighborhoods are nice to walk around in. Teresa, the host was always immediately available to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great writing escape in the Redwoods

Enjoyed a weekend away here to focus on my writing. Despite a day of torrential rain, the place was cozy and bright (nice skylights.) And the little creek running alongside, waking up to the Redwoods, and ease of communication made the whole visit wonderful.

This cottage was so lovely nestled in the redwood trees and outfitted so thoughtfully! We were visiting from Hawaii to go to a family wedding in LA and then drove to Fairfax to visit family near there. This little spot was so relaxing and cool and quiet.

Quaint Getaway

We were surrounded by redwoods. Teresa’s home made us feel very welcome. The bed was very comfy, but the pillows were a bit flat. We went to Muir Woods and this place was about 30 minutes away which made it convenient. Teresa was very responsive to our questions.

This is a quiet cottage only minutes by foot from downtown Fairfax. I walked every morning to the bakery. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and found the location and the cottage perfect for our needs. Super clean, charming, and Teresa is there to help with any special requests. She gave me a recommendation for a park to use for a pre-wedding party. It was perfect. Ten out of ten rating.
