The Sonoma Suite is a fully private, non-shared, modern 620 sq. ft. suite in Marin—an ideal base for San Francisco and Wine Country.
Perfect for couples, business travelers, and weekend getaways. Located in an upscale, quiet, and very safe neighborhood. The suite offers FREE dedicated parking, a True HEPA 5-Stage Air Purifier, washer and dryer, AC/Heating and easy self check-in with smart lock access.

The elegant living area features beautiful Views, a 65” 4K TV, LED fireplace, Eames recliners, a dedicated workspace, and 2 Gbps Wi-Fi. The bedroom includes soft white luxury bedding and a gel memory foam mattress, while the spa-style marble bathroom offers an LED rain shower with body sprays and premium toiletries.

For light meals and beverages, the suite includes a microwave, toaster, small fridge, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle (please note: no stove or oven). A washer & dryer, chargers, and essential amenities are provided. The suite is fully private with no shared spaces.

Located minutes from San Francisco, Muir Woods, the Marin Coast, Napa & Sonoma, and close to hiking, biking, and Sausalito/Mill Valley, this suite is an ideal base for exploring Northern California.

Note: The suite does not include a private outdoor area, though guests enjoy the peaceful setting, scenic surroundings, and proximity to nearby trails and viewpoints.

Great location. We liked the modern and up to date furnishing and comfortable facilities. Our stay involved night stay as we spent day time with son’s family at their home. Definitely recommend highly to friends and family and hope to return when we visit next time to Marin county.

The property is well maintained and exactly like the pictures. Good restaurants close by. Whether you are going to San Francisco, or Napa/Sonoma, or the coast this lodging is perfectly located.

Eugene and Natalie are exceptional hosts! Our Sonoma Suitte was well equipped with refrigerator, microwave and a big screen TV. What was truly nice are the extras for example: a bottle of nice wine, a bowl of fruit with apples and persimmons, cookies, biscotti, a nice can of Italian wafers and more. The bed was very comfortable. What we really appreciate is a washer and dryer in the room so we do not have to pack as many clothes for an extended stay. The location is very quiet and yet easily accessible to highway 101, a Safeway grocery as well as a cool family owned store called Scotty’s Market. We have been shopping there for 20 years. It is super easy to go to downtown San Rafael to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We frequently go to San Anselmo and Fairfax for little day trips and dinners. It is an easy drive to Novato and Napa for day excursions. we have been coming back for a number of years now and will continue to return.

This was a wonderful place! I am a San Rafael local, and my dad and I stayed here. Very clean, very comfortable, well lit indoors by daylight or lighting. A giant TV, a bunch of fun amenities. Many fun things to do in the neighborhood. A perfect place between Sonoma and San Francisco.

Couldn’t have asked for better!

After a grueling day of travel, we opened the door to this beautiful hideaway! There was gentle mood music playing that immediately soothed our stressed nerves, and a special treat left for us from the hosts. The bed is extremely comfy-it was tough getting up every morning, and the location was just what we were looking for to get to our destinations each day! We had a wonderful week here and look forward to the possibilities for the future! Thank you so much Eugene and Natalie for allowing us to stay in your beautiful vrbo!

It was a terrific experience. Eugene thought of everything. The unit was convenient, safe, and well equipped with all the basics. The bed was comfortable and the heating/cooling was good. The TV was a little weird because there were no normal channels but we dealt with it. If you are looking for a good place to sleep and a convenient location this is a great option.

Immaculate and tons of natural light!

Weekend getaway – the space was absolutely immaculate. The landscaping is wonderful, which you can see from all windows while inside, and it feels almost tropical. The hosts had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us, and overall we had a really great experience!! I was there for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend, and the only small challenge is that the sofa isn’t especially cuddle – friendly. The bed, however, is fantastic! So comfortable! Also, the TV is great. We were able to hook up our streaming services and watch movies. Lots of conveniences very nearby, but still off the beaten path/super residential and quiet. We had everything we needed, and would definitely stay here again!

Nice, very few quirks

It was just like it looks. I love all the seating like it's a mod hotel. The bathroom is nice, but the sliding door isn't flush and doesn't feel especially private.The only quirks I'd say is the front wall is glass cubes, so you can't cut all the light out, unless there was something that closed off the bedroom that I missed. However, this didn't bother me.And there is a neighboring unit, so if they throw something in the recycling on the other side of the glass wall, you will totally hear it and see their shadow. This wasn't a big deal. Also, the soundproofing must be good between units because they had a baby I saw outside but I did not hear one peep when I was inside.

Our location offers effortless access to the region’s top destinations — San Francisco, Wine Country, Muir Woods, and the Marin coastline. With excellent connectivity to major highways and public transit, exploring the Bay Area is both simple and convenient.

We are just 15 miles (about 15 minutes) from the Golden Gate Bridge, 2 miles from the Manuel T. Freitas Pkwy / Hwy 101 exit, and 7 minutes from Downtown San Rafael. You’re also 6.5 miles from the beaches, hiking trails, and mountain-biking routes of China Camp State Park, and 30 minutes from the majestic Muir Woods National Monument.
