Beautiful independent stone villa centrally located in the most desirable part of the Dordogne - the Perigord Noir. For your romantic sejour we open the ground floor of the Villa. It's full of character and French charm with oak beams and stone fireplaces. You will have 1 charming bedroom with a double bed and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are 2 large comfortable living rooms with TVs (English & French) and DVD players. The kitchen is well designed and modern. It has beautiful custom made oak cabinets and oak floors with granite kitchen counters and lots of space. The kitchen is well supplied with gadgets and is a chef's delight.
There is a spacious dining terrace with a large Weber gas grill for your outside entertaining. There is also an outside lounge terrace to the back of the house, where the views of the countryside are at their best. You can also relax in the different swing chairs that we have placed around the lovely gardens surrounded by mature trees, plants, and beautiful flowers.
Prepare for luxury. Situated within the grounds you will find a 20x43ft (6x13m) heated, chlorine-free, salt-water swimming pool. It's one of the largest pools in the Sarlat Dordogne area and we keep the temp at 27C minimum through the season. There is plenty of terrace space around the pool for lounge chairs and umbrellas. You will also enjoy an 8 person Jacuzzi hot tub, overlooking the lush green pastures of the Dordogne countryside. You and your family and friends might decide that sight-seeing can wait until tomorrow, or even next year ;-)
This is a wonderful, charming and very special property that is full of character and beautifully furnished. Staying at The Mulberry Tree Villa you will have the feel of the 17th century but all the upgrades and comfort of home. The property has consistently earned 5 star ratings and rave reviews over the last 10 years. In our first and second seasons we were able to maintain the high standard of accommodation and hospitality, earning our own 5 star ratings.

Location, location, location!!! All our guests agree we are in the center of paradise. Privacy, peace, and quiet!! Away from it all, but with everything close by. You have a gorgeous villa to relax and enjoy, but within 5 to 20 minutes you can see so many fascinating and historical sites in the Perigord Noir. There is so much to see and do in our area, that you could stay for a month and not see it all. There are beautiful village's and chateaux's to explore; the Dordogne and Vezere rivers offering fishing and canoeing; as well as superb restaurants and shops. There are numerous vineyards of Bergerac for wine enthusiasts and there is a different local market situated in a nearby village or town for every day of the week. This is a wonderful home to enjoy and relax in, has all the amenities you could want, and close to everything. We hope to see you soon!!
