With plenty of sunlight beaming in from the balcony, its peaceful living area featuring a sofa and a TV is perfect to unwind. The wood-floored open living room also has direct access to the dining and kitchen area.

The kitchenette is well-equipped with an american style coffee machine, a microwave, a cooker hob, a fridge, and an electric kettle for a wholesome meal.

Chamonix’s lively centre is just a few minutes’ walk away from this fourth-floor holiday rental. Numerous restaurants are within 400 metres’ distance from here, while the supermarket is just 10 metres away.

The apartment is ideal for a skiing holiday as the Bellevue Cable Car (13 minutes), the Brévent Cable Car (15 minutes) and Chamonix Sud (2 minutes) are within walking distance. The off-piste tracks of the Vallée Blanche can very well be reached via Aiguille Du Midi Cable Car (2 minutes walking distance).

For those looking to keep up the adrenaline, the Chamonix Tennis Club and The Chamonix Golf club are 2.6 kilometres and 4.2 kilometres away respectively. The convenient location of the apartment also means that hiking trails of various difficulty levels to Lac de Chésery and Lac Mont Blanc can be easily enjoyed.

The picturesque mountain village of Les Houches (a 12-minute drive) and the thermal spas of St. Gervais (a 29-minute drive) are also some of the places that make for charming visits in the Chamonix Valley. The Geneva Cointrin Airport is 98.70 kilometres away.

In a perfect location close to the bus and train station and a short walk to lots of restaurants. Beautiful view from the living room and bedroom. The stairs are quite steep and narrow and hard to manage with large luggage, but other than that it was a great stay and would stay again.

On arrival at the parking garage, we were met with a huge, deep puddle of foul smelling water at the door to the building- it was so big you had no option other than to wade through it. The puddle was there for 2 days. The elevator was broken the whole first day and we had to haul our luggage, skis and gear up 5 flights from the parking garage. Every floor we passed smelled worse than the last- so foul we had to cover our faces. There was a huge pile of hair in one stairwell- as if someone had gotten a haircut there and left it. Our unit was clean but really worn. Paper thin sheets and prison grade towels. But here was the worst part- on the day of checkout, our daughter had a fever and was very sick. I asked the cleaning crew if we could have an extra 30 minutes to let her rest before leaving (so, instead of 10 am, I asked to check out at 10:30 am). The cleaning crew was very nice , they called the management to check, then they said, “Of course, stay another 30 minutes, we can clean another unit first.” But then 3 minutes later an angry, bitter young woman banged on our door. She was extremely rude, and demanded that we leave immediately. She berated us and scolded us incessantly, even when we said we would leave that minute. Her anger was inappropriate given the situation.It was a pathetic power trip and totally out of line, especially given the poor state of the building and how shabby everything was in general.

We are sorry to hear about your experience, but we must clarify that the situation is not entirely as you described. Regarding the underground parking, it is true that during snow melting, water can accumulate. While we understand this is inconvenient, it is beyond our control. Similarly, the common areas are not directly managed by us; they are cleaned once daily, and if someone left hair in the stairwell, this is indeed unfortunate but beyond our responsibility. As for the towels, we use the same provider as most hotels in Chamonix; they are standard hotel quality. Concerning the checkout, your description is inaccurate. The cleaners do not handle late checkouts — this is managed by reception, who attempted to contact you. Since there was no timely communication about your daughter being unwell or your requested extension, the staff was not authorized to grant a later checkout. Additionally, you treated the staff very disrespectfully during the interaction and in subsequent messages, including using offensive language when asked to respect the checkout time. This behavior is unacceptable, and we hope you reflect on your conduct. We strive to provide professional service and clear communication and hope that future guests can have a smoother experience.
