The Space:
Mare Verde 98 - Two Bed is a meticulously refurbished apartment that exemplifies comfort and convenience. Situated just a 5-minute stroll away from the exquisite beaches of Torviscas and Fanabe, this remarkable accommodation guarantees an exceptional stay. Boasting two bedrooms and a well-appointed bathroom, the apartment showcases a commitment to maintaining high standards.

The living area offers an expansive and airy atmosphere, complemented by two sun-drenched balconies that are perfect for relaxation. As the apartment faces inward within the complex, guests can revel in a peaceful setting without any disturbances from the road. Moreover, its location at the lower end of the pools ensures a quieter ambiance compared to the units directly overlooking the pool. Instead, guests can delight in scenic garden views.

Accessed via a single flight of stairs, the apartment resides on the first floor. Two large fans, combined with refreshing breezes flowing through the expansive patio doors and the spaciousness of the apartment, keep the interior pleasantly cool. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with two comfortable single beds, while the master bedroom boasts a balcony adorned with two inviting sun loungers. A second balcony connected to the living area features a patio table and chairs, providing an ideal spot for alfresco dining.

Entertainment needs are met with a generously sized flat-screen TV offering an array of satellite channels. The living area is tastefully furnished with a sofa bed, a second sofa, and a convenient coffee table. The fully equipped kitchen ensures a seamless culinary experience, complete with a fridge, separate freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, and other essential amenities. Additionally, the bathroom features a bath/shower combination, wash hand basin, WC, and a washing machine, catering to guests' comfort and convenience.

The guest will be charged a prepayment of or the total price of the reservation anytime. Please double check with us on the payment schedule.

No groups of all males or all females. Lead guest must be 25 years or older.

We can offer beach towels for €2,50 each.

Please note due to new legal regulations in Spain, the owner of this property may require some personal information from guests, including but not limited to the following: copies of passports for all the guests, the guests' home address, mobile telephone number and email address. Also, if children aged 18 years or younger are included in the party, we will need to know the relationship of the children to one adult member of the party. Full flight details will also be required to arrange the key handover.

Nice holiday apartment

Very nice, clean apartment. We stayed for 4 weeks and so had more time to be critical, especially being locked down for one week due to Coronavirus. Despite this, we found both bedrooms and living room/kitchen to be very spacious, with the extra bonus of two balconies. The bedrooms both have plenty of storage for clothes. Whilst the bathroom is a little dated, it was adequate for our needs and the washing machine is an added bonus. If I am to give a balanced view, a disadvantage I found was that, whilst there is a plastic table and chairs on the balcony, there is nothing inside the apartment to allow eating inside, so we had to bring the balcony furniture in to eat when the evenings were cold and then out again for a nice breakfast in the sunshine. A small or drop-leaf table and fold up chairs would have been perfect. As I say, the lock down was a bit unfortunate, but less boring than in the hotel room, as we could at least lie out in the sun on the balcony.

Schoon en ruim.

Appartement was schoon. Park zelf wel links en rechts achterstallig onderhoud. Bijvoorbeeld zwembad. Jammer genoeg werd er in het appartement onder ons flink geblowd en hadden wij last van de stank.

Thank you for your review and I'm very happy that you thought the apartment was lovely and roomy. The owners of all the apartments on Mare Verde contribute via their Community Fees towards the up-keep of the complex. The maintenance is an ongoing job and never a day goes by when something isn't being improved on. Last time I visited the pool was looking very good. I might be mis-understanding the language, so I am not sure if you are saying people in your party were smoking or perhaps the people staying in the apartment before you. But it is a non-smoking apartment and therefore forbidden to smoke in the apartment. On the balcony is OK.

I would recommend this property to family & friend

I liked the apartment very much. The location was good close to shops, restaurants and entertainment. The Wi-Fi was excellent and there was a safe. Once a week our bed was changed and clean towels left. The sun was on the balcony from lunch time. The only problem being the sun shone into the lounge/ dining area and the sun blinded you, there was not any curtains on the patio doors Also there was nothing to keep the flies out on the patio door and the bedrooms. There was a breakfast bar with 1 stool. Ideally there should be a table and chairs so you could sit and eat. The patio had a plastic table and chairs. Unfortunately the chair legs are not very good in the heat . The legs spread and break. We enjoyed our holiday and have booked again for next year.

Thank you for your lovely 4 star review Helen. You have been very complimentary about the apartment. There were 2 stools at the breakfast bar, but one was broken by a previous guest. Since the owner has put in the freezer at the request of another guest, there really isn't room for a 2nd stool anymore. Also it is the owner's personal preference not to have a dining table and chairs inside, as this would make the apartment cluttered and less spacious and airy. Instead there is the patio table and chairs on the balcony. You are right though: the chairs do wear in the heat. But if you had let me know that one was broken, I could have arranged to replace that for you. As you say you have booked for next year, which is proof in itself that you had a lovely holiday and that you liked the apartment. That's so good to hear. Thank you so much.

Good holiday apartment in a nice location

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 8 nights with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Full marks to Karen at holidays4u for sending me a map of the complex and directions how to find the apartment. The complex is on a slope but we were pleased to discover that we were at the bottom on the hill and close to one of the entry gates which are kept locked. The apartment is close to a Hiperdino express supermarket and a 10 minute walk to the beach. We did not use the pool at the complex so cannot comment on it. Inside the apartment there were two twin bedrooms and we all found the beds to be comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped although we always ate out with the exception of having an Indian takeaway one night from Delhi Dimbar restaurant which was situated across the road from the apartment and is recommended if you enjoy Indian food. We all enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate in using this apartment again.

A lovely bright apartment in a quiet complex.

A lovely apartment set in a quiet area, walking distance from shops and restaurants and bars. It was a great asset having the washing machine. Plenty of room for 6 people even though it is only a 2 bedroom apartment. The cafe Nina bar was fantastic. Great for breakfasts with a great variety so no need to make your own as the price was very reasonable and staff were more than helpful and friendly. Pools ran throughout the complex suitable for all ages. Access in the complex catered for everyone.

Clean comfortable apartment

Property nice and clean, plenty of room. Fan in every room. Close to all local amenities. Easy to access on arrival. Have stayed here on mare verde 4 times in past 2 years, love it We travelled with 3x children

Good location - apartment clean & basic

Apartment was clean albeit very basic. Location was really good - less than 10 mins to beach / pubs / restaurants. Would benefit from air conditioning Good communication with owner & no issues.

In fairness I don't feel a 3 star rating is fair on this occasion. Carole and I had a conversation to discuss why she felt the apartment was basic and she admitted it was because the apartment didn't have a double bed and there isn't any air conditioning, but the apartment isn't advertised as having either. The apartment certainly isn't basic, it even has private wifi internet access. It's great to know that the apartment was clean and that communication was good.

Very good. Good size apartment

The property was very clean and tidy . Free WiFi was an added bonus. Great owners to deal with . Good contact from them explaining everything clearly. Mare Verde is a great complex and just a short strol into town centre and beach
