STOP looking for alternatives. This is your destination in a private and safe surrounding. Only a 20-minute drive from Girona airport and a 60-minute drive from Barcelona airport.

In this peaceful hilly Spanish neighborhood in Maçanet de la Selva, you will find this 5 bedroom Villa on a plot of 1,000 m2 with a private pool. Away from all the hectic, but close enough to nice villages and beaches. This unique location is 16 km from Lloret de Mar, 20 km from the cosy beach of Canyelles and 25 km from the lively centre of Tossa de Mar. A holiday spot you will definitely enjoy!

Costa Brava, with it's length of about 100 km, runs from Blanes to Port Bou near the French border. This makes the Costa Brava a very popular holiday destination for tourist who travel by car. In the South of the Costa Brava you will find the La Selva district, between the town of Blanes and Tossa de Mar. In the several fisherman villages you will find remains of the Roman period, with the burrow of Tossa de Mar as a jewel on the crown. Together with the heartwarming character of the local populace, the rich historical past, the lovely green hills and the varied exquisite kitchen makes the Costa Brava a holiday region which has a lot going for itself.

Would the children prefer to be active? Then you can visit the water fun park with its spectacular water chutes of the Gnomo Park (Lloret de Mar) with lots of active attractions and a climbing park. There are also many walking and cycling routes, from quiet trails along the beautiful bays to more challenging routes through the beautiful green hills inland. A fan of watersports? Hire a kayak for a trip along the coast, go jetskiing, waterskiing or parasailing. Or explore the spectacular undersea world of the Costa Brava. You can do this from the comfort of a glass-bottomed boat or go snorkeling and diving with one of the experienced dive schools. An amazing experience!

What about the nice historic town of Girona? Great restaurants and shops. Not enough shops? You can always go by car or train to Barcelona. It will take you max 1 hour.

Nature lovers can indulge in the botanical gardens of Santa Cotilde with an area of more than 25,000 m2. It is a beautiful place with gardens consisting of terraces, various paths, statutes, fountains, and ponds. A holiday destination with endless possibilities!

Our Villa has a living room with a fireplace, 5 air-conditioned bedrooms (five kingsize beds and two single beds), 2 bathrooms inside and 1 shower and 1 toilet outside. Next to our heated swimming pool (approx. 40 m2), you will find a nice porch with build in BBQ .

Family style villa

The villa delighted us with its location in a quiet village and its coziness. The neighbors were hospitable and even welcomed us with flowers, not to mention a welcome basket of wine and olives from the owners. This was a very kind gesture. The villa has literally everything you need on vacation, including beach umbrellas. The host has excellent communication, and the nearby town is charming. What could be improved, however, would be a few coffee capsules upon arrival, or a little dishwashing liquid. Of course, guests can refill these later themselves. The pool itself is very comfortable, but it needs a quicker water change or better filters to avoid problems. Overall, we highly recommend this place, which we will remember forever.

Un séjour au top dans cette magnifique villa ! Nous étions 4 adultes et 7 enfants âgés de 1 à 14 ans. Tout le monde a grandement apprécié le confort et la propreté de cette grande maison ! Il y avait tout le nécessaire sur place pour ne pas avoir à s'encombrer dans les bagages (linges de toilette, literie, équipements pour bébé...etc). PARFAIT pour nous ! Nous recommandons vivement cette location de vacances. Excellente communication aussi avec le propriétaire. Merci encore à vous Patrick pour votre gentillesse !!! A bientôt 😀

Vacation in Catalonia

My family and I recently spent two weeks in this charming holiday house in Spain, located near the picturesque village of Macanet de la Selva near Costa Brava. Here is my honest review of our experience. The house is situated in a quiet area, less than one hour by car from Barcelona and about 30 minutes by car to the ocean. The area is perfect for various activities such as snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, hiking, climbing and wine tasting. The house was clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. There were five bedrooms, all equipped with comfortable beds and air conditioning, which was a blessing in the Spanish summer heat. The living room was spacious with a comfortable large sofa and a big TV. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare our own meals, which we did almost every day. Several very nice areas outside for dining. We especially appreciated the private pool in the garden, where we spent many lazy afternoons. The garden was beautiful with well-kept flowers and a barbecue area that we used several times. The WiFi connection was strong and stable, which was important as we had some teenagers with us. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. We received good information before our arrival and many tips on local restaurants and attractions. During our stay, they were always available by phone to answer our questions and ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Family Holiday

The villa was extremely well equipped, the response from the owner on the few times we needed assistance with was quick. There were only 2 things that we felt were missing from the whole setup, a microwave and a toaster, the toaster is now there perhaps a microwave will be forthcoming in the future. All in all an excellent experience.

Nous étions 10 adultes retraités dans cette belle maison mais très honnêtement il manque une salle de bain et un wc indépendant. Il y a 2 chambres au rdc sans pratiquement de rangement et la 3ème chambre le très grand lit collé au mur. Pour 10 personnes manque de vaisselle 6 verres à pied pas de grille pain - 2 petits saladiers. Quant on loue pour 10 la vaisselle doit être en rapport . Malgré notre demande au propriétaire rien obtenu. Gros point noir énormément dérangé par tous ces chiens qui aboient pour un oui pour un non. Beaucoup de promiscuité avec la maison côté piscine mériterait une clôture fermée sans vis à vis

Geräumiges schönes sauberes Anwesen. Für 4-8 bzw. max. 10 Personen als Selbstversorger

Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Für Urlauber, speziell Familienurlauber, die sich gerne im Haus bzw. auf dem Grundstück aufhalten ist die Villa bestens geeignet. Die Supermärkte sind problemlos in 5-8 min. mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wenn man Strände aufsuchen möchte sind ca. 30 min. mit dem Auto einzuplanen. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur bzw. direkt mit den Eigentümern war unkompliziert und sehr gut.

Lovely villa

The villa was great. It had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained and decorated. In the mornings we had fun in the garden with pool, BBQ zone, ping pong and petanque court. Inside was not different, afternoon's were also perfect with the table football, a warm fireplace and an apple TV. Everything was well explained on arrival and we had also a gift from family Visscher. We had a problem with the heating and an hour after an electrician came to the house and repaired it. 100% recommended. Thanks a lot!

Fabulosa estancia

La casa tiene todo lo que uno pueda necesitar para pasar unos días. Fantástica preparación y limpieza, cuidada al máximo en los detalles, completa tanto en las habitaciones, como en la parte de jardín y piscina. El Chillout de la terraza es brutal si puedes disfrutarlo por buen tiempo. Dormir a la luz de las estrellas es inolvidable.

El alojamiento es prácticamente perfecto! Destacan sobre todo las zonas de relax en la barbacoa con la piscina, a la que no le falta detalle; y la del piso superior, que han sido los lugares más utilizados de la villa. También muy destacables las zonas de recreación ... futbolín, petanca ... Lo peor es la ubicación, al menos para un público del país que conozca un poco la zona, donde los servicios se encuentran a bastante distancia, siendo necesario disponer de un vehículo para poder acceder y que carece de vistas más allá de las casas que la rodean. Sinceramente, los detalles y acabados de la casa no se corresponden con su ubicación y, por tanto, con el precio del alquiler .. puesto que a pesar de ser una zona zona aparentemente tranquila, podemos observar un vecindario con diferente status al que pretende indicar la propiedad, puesto que es más humilde y tendente a tener en su propiedad animales de granja avícola y perros cuyos cacareos y ladridos pueden llegar a ser molestos. También faltaría un poco de intimidad en la zona de la piscina con la casa contigua. Creo que la casa ofrece todas las comodidades y detalles, así como la atención de la propiedad y de sus colaboradores; incluyendo un detalle de bienvenida muy de agradecer!! A pesar de ello, a la vista de la ubicación, es cierto que seria más apropiada para un público extranjero o que nunca haya estado por la zona de la Costa Brava. Debo felicitar a los propietarios por el esfuerzo en tener su propiedad bien equipada y cómoda, y por su atención en todo momento y espero que esta calificación les sirva para poder dar el enfoque más adecuado al anuncio de su maravillosa casa.
