A beautiful conversion of an out building nestled within its own private mature garden and stunning sea views. This volcanic lava stone built property stands over one level with 2 large bedrooms and 2 walk in shower bathrooms (one en-suite). Rustic features throughout with modern utilities smart TV and unlimited WiFi making this the ideal holiday vacation choice. The location makes it possible to walk along the path for 10 minutes to get into the center of Arrieta village with the stunning La Gerita beach and all the wonderful restaurant's nearby.

Restful stay in a beautiful location

Comfortable space, good kitchen with an amazing eating area with great views of the hills and the sea. Our 4 year old daughter enjoyed finding lizards and exploring the surrounding area.

Lanzarote

The location for the 3 of us was good. We were able to quickly reach the places we wanted to hike/walk. The kitchen was well stocked and there are several places to eat inside and outside on the property. Brooms and other cleaning things are not kept in the house but in a Utility shed on the adjacent property shared by other renters. Quiet space and we felt quite comfortable. We never did visit any of the bigger towns on the coast but there are some great beaches only 15 minute drive from the house. Owner did a great job of putting up temporary signs to the house and sent a video.

Peaceful haven amid the lava

Beautiful property, comfortable and clean. We never walked to Arrieta, but it's minutes away by car so you have easy access to two small grocery stores. At the same time, you're virtually on your own where the house is located (there is a second property next door, but we rarely saw our neighbors), and you have a lovely view over Arrieta and the coast. Waking in the morning with that view, eating breakfast outside, watching the sun go down over the cactus garden, it was fantastic. The bed was comfortable (and good for tall people!), the kitchen was fairly well-equipped, really no complaints! And thanks again to Gareth for his easy and friendly welcome.

Fantastic property

We have just returned from three wonderful weeks staying in Casita Verde for the first time, and we enjoyed every minute of it. The property is really off the beaten track in a very quiet and peaceful location, but within easy reach of Arrieta with its shops and restaurants and all the attractions in the north of the island. The house itself is beautifully furnished and decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a self-catering holiday. The kitchen is really well equipped, the lounge is spacious and comfortable, and the bedrooms have lots of storage space. The garden is very well kept, and has several different areas for sitting, eating or just lounging, with incredible views across farmland to Arrieta and the sea. Staying at Casita Verde wasn’t like staying in holiday accommodation – it was just like owning your own holiday home, and we were invited by Gareth to treat it as such. However, he was always available if needed, and a mine of information. I would thoroughly recommend staying here for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday, and we will definitely return.

Das Objekt entsprach der Beschreibung. Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage. Der Vermieter, Gareth, war sehr nett und hilfreich. Wir verbrachten dort eine sehr schöne Zeit. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Ein kleines Willkommenspaket oder zumindest eine Flasche Wasser wäre nett gewesen, damit man nach der langen Anreise nicht gleich zum nächsten Supermarkt fahren muss.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen!

Diese Unterkunft ist hervorragend um sich zu entspannen, da sie weit ab vom Tourismus, sehr ruhig gelegen ist. Von dort aus kann man den Blick auf das Meer schweifen lassen. Wir haben alles sehr sauber angetroffen. Gareth ist ein hervorragender Host, der uns mit Rat und Tat sofort zur Seite stand. Gareth, wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Sehr guter Kontakt zum Vermieter; Einrichtung wie beschrieben mit sehr gut eingerichteter Küche, sauber und empfehlenswert. Toller Garten mit Ausblick zum Meer.Tipp: Die Gartenmöbel und Auflagen könnten mal eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. Die Gartensessel waren vorwiegend von den Kätzchen (sehr gepflegt) besetzt. Von der Finca aus und in der Umgebung haben wir Naturliebhaber wie immer tolle Wanderungen und Ausflüge gemacht. Vielen Dank.

Super Holydays

Es waren sehr schöne vier Wochen ganz abseits von allem Trubel. Das Casita verde liegt sehr schön gelegen leicht auf der Höhe und absolut ruhig. Da die Zufahrtstraße wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt war, hat der Eigentümer Gareth, mit dem die Kommunikation bereits im Vorfeld super war, uns an der Tankstelle in Arrieta erwartet und ist uns vorausgefahren bis zum Ferienhaus Casita verde. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet, die Betten waren sehr gut. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr großzügig. Auch bei Wind findet man ein windstilles Plätzchen auf dem Gelände. Die Weitsicht ist aussergewöhnlich. Wir haben diese Weite und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Urig gemütliches Haus mit tollem Blick

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Gareth war einwandfrei. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem WLAN, das lag aber am Wetter. Gareth hat innerhalb weniger Minuten auf unsere Fragen geantwortet. Morgens wurden wir immer von einer kleinen Gruppe Katzen begrüßt. Diese sind sehr scheu, freuen sich aber über eine kleine Mahlzeit. Katzenfutter stand im Haus extra bereit. Auch für uns war alles da, was wir für diesen Urlaub brauchten.

Magnifique maison dans un calme absolu

Cette maison a un charme particulier avec ses murs en pierre de lave. L'extérieur est très agréable, on apprécie de se promener dans le jardin de cactus parfaitement entretenu. Le contact avec le propriétaire est plus que cordial. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Casita Verde. Maison très chouette, ( encore mieux que sur les photos) un jardin superbe , une vue magnifique, un calme absolu , et Gareth vraiment charmant. Tout y était pour passer de belles vacances. Nous avons regretté de devoir quitter cette maison agréable. Je recommande.

We currently lead a busy lifestyle, not only looking after our holiday rentals and attending to our guests, but also work on the various craft markets dotted around the island. Our passions include anything water sports related and looking after our rescue dogs and cats.

Originally this was an out building used by the Finca next door. Lovingly rebuilt from an old wash house ruin. This unique property now sits within it own private corner and enjoys tranquility among the mature garden and stunning sea and mountain views.
